EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Menus Unwrapped

You’ll want to jingle all the way over to the Holiday Kitchens, where you’ll find a spectacular list of bites and sips to put you in the holiday spirit. This year’s lineup features a joyous blend of returning classics and exciting new delights. Look for the savory Cheese Fondue at Bavaria Holiday Kitchen and the fan-favorite Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie from the Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow. Among the anticipated new indulgences are the dramatic Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate-Peppermint Mousse at Swirled Showcase and the sweet Red Velvet Cake Pop from Holiday Hearth Desserts—truly something for everyone to try.

Disney’s Q Earnings Show Flat Revenue For Fourth Quarter

Disney’s Q4 Earnings Show Roughly Flat Revenue as TV Troubles Deepen and YouTube TV Blackout Drains $30 Million Per Week

The Walt Disney Company released its fourth quarter earnings for fiscal year 2025, and while the numbers technically fall into the “mixed results” category, one theme is impossible to ignore. Disney’s TV business continues to shrink, and the company is now knee-deep in its longest-ever carriage dispute: the blackout of Disney-owned channels on YouTube TV. The standoff is costing an estimated $30 million per week, and Disney has officially told investors it has no idea how long the blackout will continue.

Disney’s Q4 Earnings Show Flat Revenue For Fourth Quarter 2025

Quarterly Revenue: Basically Flat, and TV Is the Reason Why

Disney reported fourth quarter revenue of $22.46 billion, essentially identical to last year’s $22.57 billion. When a company Disney’s size stabilizes revenue instead of growing it, something big is happening behind the scenes. This time, that “something big” is TV.

Linear networks were down another 16 percent in revenue for the quarter and down 21 percent in operating income. Domestic advertising dropped due to declining viewership, the absence of political advertising, and a weaker programming slate.

Disney’s own wording in its filings summed it up: continued softness in traditional TV, coupled with weakening ad rates, weighed heavily on results.

If you’re thinking that this sounds like a story we’ve heard before, you’re not wrong. But the YouTube TV blackout has poured gasoline on the fire.

The YouTube TV Battle: Disney Confirms It “Cannot Predict” When It Will End

In a newly updated risk factor in its 10-K, Disney disclosed that its channels were removed from YouTube TV on October 30 after the companies failed to reach a new distribution contract. ESPN, ABC, FX, Disney Channel and more have now been dark on YouTube TV for two weeks, the longest blackout in Disney’s history.

And the update that raised eyebrows?

Disney told investors it “cannot predict how long this service blackout will last or reasonably estimate the adverse impact” on its operations.

Morgan Stanley estimates Disney is losing $30 million every single week the channels remain unavailable. That number includes lost affiliate fees and lost advertising tied to YouTube TV’s massive subscriber base.

So far, this is a double hit: TV is declining, and one of its most important distribution partners is offline. Disney also warned that several other distribution contracts expire in 2026, which means more blackouts are possible.

Sports Rights Costs Add Further Pressure

Disney also highlighted another challenge: sports rights fees are rising sharply, and there’s no guarantee that revenue from sports programming will exceed the cost of airing it.

For ESPN, already under strain from the blackout, these costs pose an additional long-term challenge. And with the new ESPN direct-to-consumer service launching in August, marketing and programming costs surged in Q4.

Entertainment Was Softer, but Streaming Did Its Job

Entertainment revenue fell 6 percent for the quarter, primarily because this year’s theatrical slate couldn’t compete with last year’s juggernauts like Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine.

But there was a bright spot: streaming.

Direct-to-Consumer operating income rose 39 percent to $352 million. Disney+ and Hulu added over 12 million subscriptions combined, pushing their total to nearly 196 million. Those gains helped soften the blow from TV declines.

Parks and Experiences Brought the Pixie Dust (Again)

The Experiences division delivered a strong quarter with operating income rising 13 percent. Not only did domestic parks remain resilient, but Disneyland Paris and the international parks turned in strong results.

Disney Cruise Line also continued its growth streak following the launch of the Disney Treasure and the ramp-up toward two more ships in 2026.

Yet even with those gains, the strength of the parks wasn’t enough to fully outweigh the linear TV decline this quarter.

So What Does This All Mean?

Disney’s Q4 was a tale of two businesses. Streaming and parks continue to grow reliably — a major win for fans dreaming of new attractions, lands, and cruise experiences. But TV, once the backbone of Disney’s financial engine, is shrinking faster than new revenue streams can replace it.

And the YouTube TV blackout is only making things harder. Disney doesn’t know when it will end. It doesn’t know how much the damage will total. And the company is losing tens of millions per week in the meantime.

Investors seemed relatively calm about the quarter overall, but as long as ESPN and ABC remain dark on one of the largest streaming TV platforms in the country, the pressure will only grow.

Parade Premiere! Tokyo Disneyland Unveils “Toys Wondrous Christmas”

Get ready to celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland has unwrapped a brand-new seasonal parade, “Toys Wondrous Christmas!,”now running through December 25, 2025. This spectacular parade leads a park-wide Disney Christmas celebration that features sparkling entertainment, festive decor, and so much more across both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

“Toys Wondrous Christmas!” brings Santa Claus’ toy factory to Tokyo Disneyland, where his merry elves are busy at the toy factory. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pete lead the celebration alongside teddy bears dressed in cozy winter outfits, toy vehicles, and a nutcracker marching band.

Each float tells a story, and as the parade makes its way through the park, it will stop at three key locations — between Westernland and Fantasyland, The Plaza, and between Tomorrowland and Toontown — offering a chance to experience a special performance filled with music and dancing.

Over at Tokyo DisneySea, the celebration continues with “Disney Christmas Greeting,”a heartwarming show on the waters of Mediterranean Harbor. Cheer also fills the air with performances by the “Holiday Wonder Band” and the harmonious “Christmas Carolers” at the American Waterfront.

As night falls, “Starbright Christmas,” a breathtaking fireworks display wraps each day with a sparkling finale over Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea shimmer this holiday season! World Bazaar to Cinderella Castle welcomes festive cheer with a towering Christmas tree and decorations themed to the new parade, while Mediterranean Harbor glows with all-new lights and décor.

Fan favorite attractions have once again received a festive twist at Tokyo Disneyland through January 12, 2026!

6 Fan-Favorite Attractions Reopen at Disneyland Before Christmas

Just as the highly anticipated Christmas season begins, Disneyland is welcoming back several fan-favorite attractions after seasonal refurbishments. The reopened rides will help absorb the massive holiday crowds, ensuring a smoother and more magical experience during the resort’s busiest time of the year.

The festive excitement starts Friday, November 14th—the official kickoff of the winter holiday season! Returning just in time are four beloved attractions: “it’s a small world,” Storybook Land Canal Boats, Casey Jr. Circus Train, and the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. These join the recently reopened favorites, Big Thunder Mountain and “Mickey’s PhilharMagic,” giving holiday guests six extra experiences to enjoy!

On November 14th, two more favorites return! “it’s a small world” resumes operations following its annual transformation into its beloved holiday mode, ready to delight guests for the Christmas season. Also returning is the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, back to its normal state after the removal of the spooky “Villains Grove” overlay from the Halloween season.

Two major attractions have already made their grand returns: Big Thunder Mountain rumbled back into action in early November after an extended refurbishment that began in September. Meanwhile, “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” resumed showings in late October, completing its nearly four-week refurbishment.

While six attractions are returning, not every experience at Disneyland and DCA will be continuously open during the Christmas season. Guests should note the following intermittent closures:

Rivers of America: Both the Sailing Ship Columbia and Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes will be out of commission on November 12-13 and November 17-20.
“Fantasmic!”: The popular nighttime spectacular will be dark on November 12-13, November 17-20, December 1-4, December 8-11, and December 15-18.
Pixie Hollow: The Fantasyland character meet-and-greet area will see closures on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout November and early December. It will then be closed for an extended stretch from December 7-24.

Toy Story 5 Teaser Trailer Debuts!

The toys are back, but things are definitely changing! Disney and Pixar have unveiled the thrilling first teaser trailer and a new poster for Toy Story 5. The new film promises a fascinating new direction with the theme “Toy meets Tech,” hinting at a groundbreaking adventure for Woody, Buzz, and the gang.

The teaser trailer introduces a major new character: Lilypad, a high-tech, frog-shaped smart tablet voiced by the remarkably talented Greta Lee (Past Lives, The Morning Show). Lilypad is the core of the film’s conflict, making Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and the rest of the gang’s job exponentially harder as they go head-to-head with this all-new threat to playtime.
