A shocking video has surfaced showing a guest leaping onto the Cars-themed Mack float during a performance of the Paint the Night parade at Disneyland. The unauthorized encounter, which was captured by nearby onlookers, shows the guest making contact with the moving float before security intervened.

The Cars Electric Roadway Jam serves as one of the opening acts of the Paint the Night Parade. In the captured footage, a guest is seen darting out from the sidelines and leaping onto the passenger-side doorstep of the massive Mack truck float.

The parade’s recent history hasn’t been without its challenges. In September 2025, a fire broke out on the Little Mermaid float mid-route, leading to an immediate evacuation of the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the production team managed to successfully stage a modified second performance of the parade later that evening.

While the sightlines for those classic castle photos are temporarily interrupted, there is good news for aspiring witches and wizards: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey remains fully operational. Guests can still enter the castle to experience the immersive queue and ride the attraction without any changes to the interior experience.

For the first time in over twelve months, ride vehicles have been spotted navigating the drops and turns of the mountain once again. Ride testing within Walt Disney Imagineering follows a precise and calculated trajectory. The process begins with “push-pull” tests, where vehicles are moved manually along the track, followed by runs with empty ride vehicles. We have now reached the high-stakes “weighted testing” phase, where sensors and engineers analyze data from the water-filled dummies. Once the team is satisfied with these results, the final and most anticipated milestone will arrive: Cast Member testing.

Disney typically conducts Soft Openings (or “Technical Rehearsals”) to train Cast Members and refine operations with real guests before a grand reopening. The Cinderella Castle repainting seems to be complete according to photos from bioreconstruct. No cranes or crew can be seen around the castle.

The new paint job gives the castle a refreshed look. The rooftops are now dark blue and the pink walls have returned to the previous gray color.

There is one small part on the top turret that is still pink. It appears to be the area where Tinker bell flies from the castle during the fireworks. That final spot will hopefully be repainted soon.

A guest is suing both Disney and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office following an April 2025 incident at Magic Kingdom, where she was arrested after what she claims was a medical emergency. According to the arrest report, deputies responded to a disturbance at the park’s bus area around 9:35 p.m., where the guest, identified as Halen Holton, was involved in a heated argument with a Disney security manager.

Authorities say she refused to leave after being issued a trespass warning, resisted detainment, and was arrested on charges including trespass after warning, disorderly intoxication, and resisting an officer without violence. Holton’s lawsuit paints a very different picture. She alleges that earlier in the day, a domestic violence situation involving her group left her feeling unsafe, and that Disney cast members failed to follow proper protocol.

Later that evening, she says she began experiencing serious medical symptoms including confusion, weakness, overheating, and near loss of consciousness while trying to navigate the park. According to her affidavit, she repeatedly asked for help, including requesting that a bus driver call 911, but claims her pleas were ignored or dismissed.

The situation escalated when law enforcement arrived. Holton alleges she was denied medical care, prevented from seeking help on her own, and ultimately arrested while still in distress. She further claims conditions worsened after being placed in a police vehicle without adequate cooling and later during her time at Orange County Jail, where she alleges mistreatment, denial of care, and excessive force by corrections staff. Holton is seeking $50,000 in damages per count, along with punitive damages and injunctive relief.

As with many cases like this, the claims outlined in the lawsuit represent one side of the story, and the case will move forward through the legal process.

Disneyland Paris Grants Its 25,000th Wish and the Story Behind It Will Melt Your Olaf-Sized Heart

Disneyland Paris is celebrating a truly magical milestone after granting its 25,000th wish for seriously ill children since the resort opened in 1992. The resort shared the touching story of Lou, a young Frozen fan whose wish experience marked the landmark moment. Through Make-A-Wish France, Lou was invited to be part of the March 28 inauguration ceremony for Disney Adventure World’s new World of Frozen, where she believed she would simply perform “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” for guests.

But Disneyland Paris had an extra sprinkle of pixie dust planned. Lou was surprised with a performance alongside her favorite singer, French musician Santa, who played live on piano, as well as the park’s high-tech walking Olaf animatronic. It turned the celebration into a storybook moment worthy of Arendelle itself, and made the 25,000th wish one to remember.

The celebration continued on March 29, when 40 Make-A-Wish families from across Europe were among the first guests to experience Adventure Way and the new World of Frozen. Disneyland Paris also shared just how far-reaching its wish-granting efforts have become, with 50 partner organizations across Europe, more than 1,000 wishes fulfilled in 2025 alone, more than 20 nationalities welcomed last year, and hundreds of VoluntEARS and cast members helping make the magic happen.

It is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most powerful attraction at a Disney park is pure heart.
