Reimagined Signature Dining Returns to Disney’s Aulani Resort

Aulani’s signature oceanside restaurant, ‘AMA‘AMA, is reopening soon! Beginning Oct. 14, guests can once again enjoy this signature dining experience at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.

The newly reimagined fine-dining experience features a delicious four-course, prix fixe dinner menu. Each course pays homage to the spirit of Hawai‘i, with unique flavors, high-quality ingredients and locally sourced fish and produce. The menu, created by the talented Chef De Cuisine Nicholas Amoriello, is almost completely gluten-free, with a plant-based option available for every course to ensure every type of dietary need can experience the very best of Hawai‘i’s flavors!

The new menu offers an array of contemporary island cuisine, including dishes like the “lox” opakapaka with greens, citrus, and raw and pickled vegetables; and the savory Pork Belly with “scanlan sauce,” onion, kiawe honey and Okinawan sweet potato.

Pastry Chef Carolyn Portuondo has prepared a decadent selection of desserts, incorporating iconic local flavors such as lilikoʻi, calamansi, coconut, mango, macadamia and Kona coffee. ‘AMA‘AMA has also unveiled a globally curated wine list to enhance your dining experience.

With the elevated menu, enhanced décor, live music and breathtaking views of Ko Olina Beach, ‘AMA‘AMA is the perfect setting to relax, celebrate your vacation and make memories with your loved ones.

Reservations for ‘AMA‘AMA and other dining venues at Aulani Resort, can be made up to 30 days in advance beginning Oct. 3.

New Classic Magic Kingdom Pre-Arrival MagicBands now available

New MagicBands are now available for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests to order at pre-arrival discounts. These are all MagicBand 2, not the new MagicBand+, and are available for $25 each with the pre-arrival discount.

These MagicBands have cool, retro Magic Kingdom designs. Each is themed to a different land in Magic Kingdom and has a slider with the name of the land. The designs include Tomorrowland, Liberty Square, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Main Street U.S.A.

Guardians Of The Galaxy:Holiday Special Pop Vinyls Revealed

A recent Funko announcement gives us a first look at Marvel’s cosmic heroes as how they will appear in The Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special!

Director James Gunn is feeling proud of his upcoming special.

“The holiday special is the greatest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” Gunn said. “It’s totally ridiculous, and every day we can’t believe that we’re making it. We all completely love it. It is unlike anything that anyone’s ever seen before. I can’t wait for people to see it.”

James Gunn continues to be cryptic about plot details, but he has dropped a few hints on what to expect in the Holiday Special.

First, the Disney+ special is reportedly going to have runtime under 40 minutes. The events of the special take place between Thor: Love and Thunder and the upcoming third movie.

There’s a holiday Pop for Drax, Mantis, and Rocket.

Plus, don’t forget the leader of the group, Star-Lord!

Disney Enters In Deal With Dish Network to Restore Channels

Disney’s 20 cable and broadcast TV networks were restored Sunday night to the lineups of Dish Network’s services.

On Saturday, Dish alerted its customers that its contract had expired with The Walt Disney Co. On Twitter, Dish said its “goal and priority is to reach a fair agreement to bring their channels back as quickly as possible.”

According to Dish, Disney had asked for a $1 billion increase in fees as part of renewing the deal, which had expired Sept. 30. Dish also claimed that Disney was demanding that ESPN and ESPN2 be included in Dish TV packages that currently exclude sports channels, and to require ABC local channels to be carried for all subscribers in eight markets.

“We have reached a handshake agreement with DISH/Sling TV, which properly reflects fair market value and terms for The Walt Disney Company’s unparalleled content,” Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution said in a statement Sunday. “As a result, we are pleased to restore our portfolio of networks on a temporary basis while both parties work to finalize a new deal.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution said the tentative pact covering Dish TV and Sling TV “properly reflects fair market value” for the programming suite, which includes ESPN, Disney Channel, FX, Freeform and ABC owned-and-operated stations.

We found a gorgeous Mickey Mouse Pink Polka Dot Starbucks Tumbler at Walt Disney World!

If you love pink and coffee, then this new tumbler is a great choice for you! We found it at The Emporium in Magic Kingdom for $29.99.

The tumbler features a matte pink color with holographic polka dots and Mickey Mouse with the Walt Disney World logo. Even though Mickey is a classic option, i think Minnie Mouse would have been a better choice for this specific design.

The lid and straw in a darker shade of pink work perfectly to contrast the pastel pink of the rest of the tumbler.

Disney World Annual Passholder Magnets are being Mailed Out. Disney has changed up how they distribute the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Magnets for the past year. First, we had them mailed out to us, then they switched to going to Disney Springs and joining a virtual queue. Then they moved them over to Creation Shop in Epcot, where pass holders could just pick them up. Now it looks like they are being mailed out again.

We know a lot of Annual Passholders who are renewing right now, it has been one year since Disney World opened up sales again. Apparently, Disney is mailing out the AP Magents to those who renew and have not previously picked up the newest magnet.

We have 4 Walt Disney World Passholders in our house, 3 of us had picked up our magnets. We received a magnet in the mail today for the one person who did not get theirs. So there is hope for those who have not received their newest AP Magnet.

Tamatoa Chocolate Chiffon Cake is a Shiny Treat for Halloween at Disney World. Moana’s own Shiny Villian, Tamatoa, has his own cupcake this Halloween season and it is as good as it looks. Available for a limited time. $5.99. Careful of the icing and the Shiny stuff on his back, it is pretty hard and will split a tooth! The purple icing will stain your teeth and hands also.

Disney Working on Railroad Train Tracks in Tron Lightcycle Run

Disney Working on Railroad Train Tracks in Tron Lightcycle Run. Finally progress. We can report more news on the Railroad tracks being actually placed and installed in the tunnel that will run under the new coaster in Tomorrowland, Tron Lightcycle/ Run.

Below you can see the progress that has been made on the track installation. For the past few months, we have thought the tracks had been done, but it turned out that it was whatever the tracks will actually be laying on. Today we can report that the tracks have actually been laid down and now extend past the opening of the tunnel.

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been out of commission since august of 2018, making this the longest closure of any Disney Ride. At the Magic Kingdom though we have seen the railroad getting closer to opening. With the train actually running this morning, and the tracks only 50 feet apart.

Walt’s Lifelong Passion

A noted train enthusiast, Walt Disney built his very first railroad in his backyard. The Carolwood Pacific Railroad, a 1/8-scale train, debuted in 1950 and featured a custom-built, steam-powered locomotive that encircled his property.

Delighted with his miniature backyard railroad, Walt decided to share his love of trains with the whole world. The result was the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad, a favorite of Guests since the park opened in 1955.

Mickey Mouse The Main Attraction Dumbo The Flying Elephant Collection Now Available At Disney World!

We found the Dumbo The Flying Elephant Collection at Magic Kingdom!

This is the 8th collection of the monthly Mickey Mouse The Main Attraction series inspired in iconic attractions at Walt Disney World. This one is inspired in Dumbo The Flying Elephant that opened back in 1971 in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park.

LOUNGEFLY MINI BACKPACK

The backpack features metallic blue, red and gold colors with sparkly silver ears, a ringmaster hat and the Walt Disney World 50 logo embroidered in gold on a side pocket. It captures perfectly the circus themed of Dumbo.

MICKEY MOUSE PLUSH

Mickey Mouse is the ringmaster for this collectible, limited release plush! Here, he takes inspiration from Timothy Mouse who directs the parade of high-flying pachyderms at the classic Dumbo attraction.

MICKEY MOUSE PIN

The collectible pin features Mickey Mouse in his ringmaster costume just like the plush version. Super cute!

DUMBO THE FLYING ELEPHANT KEY

Finally, the collectible key features the Dumbo logo with Mickey ears at the top and Dumbo in gold ready to take flight. The rest of the key is blue with red details and Cinderella Castle at the end in blue.

New Epcot 40th Anniversary Deluxe Print Available At The Creations Shop!

This new Epcot 40th Anniversary Deluxe Print is a must have for any Disney art fan!

This piece of art is called “Onwards and Upwards” and designed by Josey Tsao. We found it at the Creations Shop in Epcot for $29.99.

The print features Spaceship Earth in the middle with pavilion icons from the World Showcase all around and attractions from the park on the corners, all of this during a beautiful starlit night sky as the background.

There’s also special details like Figment flying over Spaceship Earth and the monorail going around the park. Everything is captured in a beautiful unique way.

The same print is also available as a post card for those looking for something smaller. A great option to frame, send to someone special or keep as a memory of this big celebration!

This Epcot 40th Anniversary Deluxe Print is not online yet but we hope to see it there soon.

Marvel Studios reveals first look at new Black Panther!

The final trailer has arrived for Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film!

Tickets are now on sale for Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the action-packed feature film that ventures back to the kingdom of Wakanda where a new threat emerges from a hidden undersea nation called Talokan.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore, opens in theaters November 11, 2022.
