A new report indicates Disney+ is planning on making a Silver Surfer feature as a prequel to the upcoming Fantastic Four MCU movie.
According to The Cosmic Circus, Marvel is developing a Silver Surfer solo project in Disney+’s special presentation format.
Marvel Studios will reportedly be using the Disney+ specials as a means to introduce new characters to the MCU. In time, certain shows will get redeveloped to fit the format.
Rumors have been circulating about the highly-anticipated debut of the Fantastic Four in the MCU, which will be helmed by WandaVision director Matt Shakman. No casting information has yet been released, though several actors have been reported to be in the running for Marvel’s famous comic book family.
Silver Surfer will reportedly premiere on Disney+ in late 2024 or early 2025.
Robbie Coltrane’s official cause of death has reportedly been revealed. The Harry Potter star, who played Hagrid in the hit fantasy films, passed away at age 72 on October 14th.
According to multiple UK reports, he died following multiple organ failure. The death certificate of the Harry Potter star also noted he had been suffering from sepsis, lower respiratory tract infection and heart block.
Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the fantasy films, had also been diagnosed with obesity and Type 2 diabetes.
In the hours following his death, tributes to Coltrane poured in from everywhere — including from his fellow “Harry Potter” stars. Coltrane played Rubeus Hagrid in all eight of the films based on J.K. Rowling’s books.
Coltrane’s death hit “Harry Potter” fans particularly hard, especially considering how in 2021, Coltrane reminisced about the legacy of his character for HBO Max’s “Return to Hogwarts” 20th-anniversary special.
“The legacy of the movies is that my children’s generation will show them to their children,” he said tearfully at the time. “So you could be watching it in 50 years time, easy. I’ll not be here, sadly, but … Hagrid will, yes.”

This is Halloween! The Zero Popcorn Bucket is now available at Walt Disney World!
It’s exclusively sold at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Jack Skellington’s dog is the perfect Halloween item for Nightmare Before Christmas fans this year!
The Zero Popcorn Bucket costs $24 at Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Also, we think it makes a great Halloween decoration for home as well!
You can find Jack Skellington’s dog on the West Coast, too! The Zero popcorn bucket lights up and can be found at Disneyland Park ice cream carts, the New Orleans Square popcorn cart, and popcorn carts in Buena Vista, Grizzly Peak, and Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure.
Animatronic Bird returns to A Pirate’s Adventure in the Magic Kingdom. There is still fun things to do inside the Magic Kingdom that do not cost extra. Our favorite hidden gem is “A Pirates Adventure” located next to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Where you can go on a treasure hunt around Adventureland and explore.
This interactive adventure uses either your Magicband or your ticket card which is scanned initially at the start of your quest. Following the treasure map, you will find touch points around Adventureland where you can be treated by different interactive components, like a canon firing, snakes shooting water, giant clams, and a certain Bird who has been missing for a few months while the Disney Cast members fixed it up.
The Parrot located in a cage, in a stairwell, close to the Pirate’s attraction helps you along on one of your quests. Well, now it has returned and is part of the adventure again.
Head over to The Crow’s Nest and pick up a talisman that magically allows you to read a secret treasure map. Then it’s all hands on deck as you fend off enemies, evade capture and hunt for treasure.
When you complete each mission, you’ll receive a very special treasure finder card. After you collect all 5, you’ll get your hands on the sixth and final card—signed by Captain Jack Sparrow himself.
Calling all marauders: get ready to raid the Treasures of the Seven Seas!
Know Before Ye Go
There is no fee to participate.
You may start your adventure up until 30 minutes before Adventureland closes.
Use your MagicBand or card or pick up a magic talisman—a special card for this attraction—at The Crow’s Nest in Adventureland.
Each of the 5 missions takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Missions have no time limit. In addition, you can stop and restart each raid at your convenience throughout the day.

Magic Kingdom Center Street Construction is almost complete. Construction projects like this are nothing new to Walt Disney World. Maintenance is always required to keep the park looking good, and Disney has been doing an amazing job recently fixing small issues around the parks.
We have been following the construction project on Center Street in Disney’s Magic Kingdom for months now. We have reported on the bricks being removed, the ground being leveled, drainage issues being fixed, and finally the work of replacing the bricks and making the street look brand new (if you can make brick roads look new).
You can now head into the back section and sit down to relax while enjoying a little bit of peace and quiet. One of the things we love about this area is while sitting down, you can hear the noises from the Dance Studio that is on the second floor of Crystal Arts.
The whole road is not complete, the front section is now being refurbished and should be done rather quickly. Until the construction is complete, there are mobility scooter ramps on the backside of the brown walls.
Popcorn Stand Removed from Tomorrowland Area, With the recent opening of Cool Ship, and reopening as a popcorn stand, the Popcorn station was living on borrowed time. Now, we have seen the old portable stand removed completely from Tomorrowland.
The popcorn stall was situated in between PeopleMover and Space Mountain in Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Cool Ship is now your destination for popcorn, buckets, and refills.
Fuel up at this space-age stand featuring melt-in-your-mouth churros with chocolate sauce. Then, before you blast off again, cool off with a refreshing beverage—like bottled water or a fountain drink.
