Jingle Cruise Returns to the Magic Kingdom for the 2022 Holiday Season
The Jingle Cruise has officially returned to the Magic Kingdom for the 2022 Holiday Season! One of our favorite Holiday overlays of the year has returned once again to Walt Disney World.
During the holiday season, the beloved Jungle Cruise experience is transformed into the Jingle Cruise—a festive-yet-familiar adventure from stem to stern!
Join the homesick Jungle Cruise skippers as they set out on a holly, jolly journey packed with silly shenanigans. The boathouse and beyond are decked out with merry décor that’s been mailed to the skippers or that they’ve created themselves. They’re even unwrapping a few holiday jokes to help everyone get in the spirit.
Mr. Toad Dome Cake Debuts at the Magic Kingdom for a Limited Time. Back on October 1st, 2021, Walt Disney World started its 50th Anniversary Celebration, which is still going on. On that day one of the most debated dome cakes arrived at Friar’s Nook, people either loved this dome cake or outright hated it. Well, it has returned! We actually enjoyed it.
Mr. Toad’s Dome Cake – Peanut Cake, Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse, With a Salty Caramel Center – $8.50 and only available for the next few days. You must have purchased the Mr. Toad Popcorn Bucket to be able to purchase this snack.
Tomorrowland Chip and Dale Greeting Guests in the Magic Kingdom
Chip and Dale in their New Limited Edition Tomorrowland Outfits are out greeting guests today in the Magic Kingdom!
While the Mr. Toad Popcorn Buckets are being handed out in the Magic Kingdom, Chip and Dale are temporarily homeless and looking for love in Tomorrowland.
The sad news is that they will only be out and about in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland till November 4th which is the last day Disney will be celebrating Mr. Toad. After that, they will be back in their normal home greeting guests once again.
If you are over in the Tomorrowland Area you can find Chip and Dale at the entrance to Space Mountain, near the face painting stand.
I for one love all of the different outfits Chip and Dale wear. Probably one of my favorites has to be when they put on their Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers outfits!
Have you spotted Tomorrowland Chip and Dale in the Magic Kingdom?
The smell of gingerbread is in the air at Disney’s Beach Club Resort! The first thing you see walking into this grand resort is a life-size princess-inspired gingerbread carousel.
The first thing you smell is the scent of gingerbread and chocolate in the air. In the lobby, just across from the carousel, a holiday shop is set up to sell holiday treats and hot chocolate.
Can you imagine anything better than sitting in one of the oversized ornate comfy chairs with your Mickey gingerbread cookie and hot chocolate in hand looking at the beautiful decorations?
The shop experienced a delay in opening yesterday but is due to be open from 11/1/22 until 1/2/23. The operating hours are 10 AM to 11 PM.
If you happen to miss the shop during its open hours you can head over to the Beach Club’s Marketplace. You can find many of the same treats available to purchase. They even have gluten-free options!
Gluten-Free Gingerbread Cookie Options
Even if you are not on a gluten-free diet these cookies taste like the regular thing. I honestly couldn’t tell the difference. One is a traditional gingerbread mickey cookie and the other is a chocolate gingerbread version. I wasn’t too sure how a chocolate gingerbread would taste and it being gluten-free at that. I was very pleasantly surprised! They both have a light glaze on them as well. You get 3 in a package for $5.79
Holiday Rice Crispy Treat
This holiday rice crispy treat looks very Frozen-inspired. Covered in a blue chocolate topping with snowflake sprinkles and sugar crystals it looks like Elsa herself could have summoned these up! These are priced at $4.99
Candied Nuts
Tied up with a festive ribbon these candied nuts are priced at $6.49.
Peppermint Bark
You can’t have Christmas without peppermint bark. This bag of treats is priced at $6.99.
Mickey Chocolate Christmas Cookie
Perhaps the most festive of them all this Mickey chocolate Christmas cookie is adorned with frosted green icing shimmery edible glitter and Christmas lights. Its priced at $4.29
Signature Stollen Bread
This large stollen bread comes festively packaged and smells amazing. It sells for $19.99

This is only the beginning! What is your favorite holiday treat from the parks or resorts? Did you know all the resorts use different recipes for their gingerbread? Personally, I find Beach Club and the Grand Floridian to be my favorite.
So many exciting new things are rolling out this holiday so be sure to check back with Chip and Company often!

Giant Christmas Tree and More Holiday Decorations Arrive at the Magic Kingdom
Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree… Last night the Giant Christmas Tree has popped up in the Magic Kingdom! While many Holiday Decorations were installed yesterday one big piece was missing the Giant Christmas Tree at the end of Main Street USA.
However overnight in true Disney Fashion, the Christmas Treet was erected with many other Holiday Decorations.
Here is a closer look at the Christmas Tree along with the unique decorations both on and around the base of this massive tree!
As we mentioned it seems Disney wasn’t done with the Holiday Decorations around the Magic Kingdom. The Nutcracker made his official Holiday appearance at the beginning of Main Street USA near the Giant Christmas Tree. They take great Holiday Selfies!
Construction Begins on the Holiday Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Work has begun on the Holiday Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for 2022! Yesterday Disney World started the annual changeover from Halloween to Christmas at the Disney Theme Parks at Disney World Resorts and work on the iconic Ginger bread House is now underway!
This life-size house made with real gingerbread sells a variety of seasonal treats throughout the Christmas Season and is a fan-favorite with many guests visiting Disney World for the Holidays.
As you can see Disney bakers and chefs have already started to prepare the Gingerbread House for its transformation, typically they will take 1-2 weeks to complete.
Here is a look at more construction photos:
The tradition of the Gingerbread house dates back to 1999 and the list of ingredients they use to create this wonder is mindblowing.
Here is a look at last year’s Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

Disney Cruise Line returning to 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Disney Cruise Line is returning to the 96th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this fall! Last year Disney Cruise Line debuted an all-new cruise ship float. The same stunning vessel will be returning to the parade later this month! This year, the majestic “ship” – inspired by the fantastical style of the Disney Wish – will float through the streets of New York once again, accompanied by an all-new performance in Herald Square.
This year’s live parade performance will be inspired by one of the new Broadway-style shows on board the Disney Wish, “Disney Seas the Adventure.” Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse and Goofy will lead an incredible cast of performers and Disney characters in this show-stopping number, which has quickly become a guest favorite aboard Disney’s newest ship.
Check out the video below for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this magical float and its pixie-dusted debut last year.
Be sure to gather your friends and family and tune in to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC-TV on Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon in all time zones.
