Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is preparing to move over to Marvel as the lead for the studio’s Disney+ series Wonder Man.
Wonder Man, a.k.a. Simon Williams, isn’t necessarily one of Marvel’s best-known headliners, but he’s got a long history in the comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby, Wonder Man was introduced to Marvel Comics in 1964 via The Avengers #9.
The upcoming series will mark the actor’s third portrayal of a comic book character. He was also in HBO’s Watchmen and Warner Bros.’ Aquaman.
The series will be directed by filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, who is best known for his work on Marvel’s “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.”
Although Marvel hasn’t released specific plot details yet, in August it was announced that Ben Kingsley will reprise his role as The Mandarin/Trevor Slattery in the upcoming series, who he played in 2021’s “Shang-Chi” and 2013’s “Iron Man 3.”
Also, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Bob Odenkirk is rumored to be up for a role in Mavel’s Wonder Man Disney+ series.

Toy Story Land Decorated for the Holidays in Hollywood Studios
Hey Howdy Hey did you hear the news? Toy Story Land has once again been decorated for the Holidays in Hollywood Studios! Woody once again has his Candy Cane Scarf and is welcoming guests to the newly decorated Toy Story Land!
Just like the other Dinosaur in Hollywood Studios ‘Gertie‘, Rex is also decorated for Christmas with his own Holiday hat. You can see him trying to string up the Christmas lights with his tiny hands.
Over by Alien Swirling Saucers, you can see these super cute little green alien bulbs. I feel like one is saying “The Claw.” This is a great spot for a photo or a selfie.
Speaking of selfie spots probably one of my favorite decorations has to be ‘Christmas Hamm’. He almost looks like a Christmas Cookie which I would totally eat just as long as it doesn’t taste like ham.
Here is a photo tour of all of the Christmas Decorations in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.
Don’t forget to check out the Green Army Men who have recently returned to Hollywood Studios while you are checking out all of the Holiday Decorations in Toy Story Land!
We just love how Disney has Toy Story Land Decorated for the Holidays! Don’t you?
Christmas Decorations have Arrived at Hollywood Studios for 2022!
If you are heading to Hollywood Studios today be prepared as Christmas has officially arrived! Decorations can be seen all the way down Hollywood & Sunset Boulevard and even in the Echo Lake areas.
Everything from Christmas Trees, Wreathes, and even Garland strung across Hollywood Blvd can be seen as guests walk in. Here is a look at some of the Christmas Decorations inside Hollywood Studios for 2022.
Most of the Christmas Decorations are the same as years past but that doesn’t bother us AT ALL! We just love this time of year at Disney World!
Gertie is even decorated for Christmas this year with Santa Hat and Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Ornament. So cute!!!
Here are some more photos of Gertie with her Santa Hat in the Echo Lake Area:
Of course, we can’t forget the Giant Christmas Tree in Hollywood Studios. If you think the Giant Tree in the Magic Kingdom is big the one in Hollywood Studios is just as tall!
Here is a closer look at the Giant Christmas Tree and the Holiday Bulbs in the Echo Lake Area of Hollywood Studios.
Finally, we headed over to Sunset Blvd Area as that part of Hollywood Studios is decorated as well. We just love looking down Sunset at the Tower of Terror and seeing the Christmas Stars!
We just love all of the Christmas Decorations at Hollywood Studios, stay tuned to Chip and Company as Toy Story Land has also been decorated for the Holidays as well!
Now you can have your Munchling and eat it too! A new and exclusive Donald plush and matching cake are being sold exclusively at Disney Springs. Chef Stefan, world-renowned pastry chef and Pastry Culinary Director for Walt Disney World, was asked to collaborate on the design for this limited edition.
Inspiration behind Donald’s Design
When asked about his inspiration for his design he said “When I was thinking about a character to inspire this Disney Munchling, Donald Duck was the first one that came to mind. He’s always been one of my favorite characters and I think that for this creation we were able to capture his fiery temperament and mischievous personality.”
The Donald Munchling cake matches Donald’s personality too! A little sweet and a lot spicy. Chef Stefan says “The flavors of the Donald Duck pastry were inspired by his design colors. It is a lemon and chiffon cake with jalapeño drizzle – a fun nod to a bold character!”
The Donald Cake is available at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs for a limited time. You can find the plush version only at World of Disney.
These scented stuffed collectibles are the hottest new craze, taking sweets and treats and re-imagining them as your favorite Disney Characters. Did I mention they are scented? I must admit I have hopped aboard the Munchlings train and am being soothed by the chocolate-scented Chip and Dale Cupcakes sitting here by my computer as I type!
There is a variety of Munchling Styles & Sizes
The plushies come in various sizes and price ranges and even have differently-themed collections. There are large huggable sizes and smaller palm-sized ones. There is even a holiday collection out right now.
I told myself I would stop at two but they keep making so many new cute designs! What characters have you collected so far?
Make sure and check back with Chip and Company to stay up top date on all the latest Disney news.
