You can now add the famous Goofy door knocker from Mickey’s Christmas Carol to your home! We spotted this limited edition piece at the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot for $900. Yeah, you read that right, that’s the price for this piece created by Jason Peltz.
The door knocker features Scrooge McDuck’s old business partner Jacob Marley portrayed by Goofy in a beautiful shiny gold color against a green piece of wood that resembles a door. It’s gorgeous!

New Merry Menagerie Polar Bear And Penguin Plush Puppets Available At Animal Kingdom!
If you have ever visited Animal Kingdom during the holidays, you probably have seen Merry Menagerie around Discovery Island, well now you can take home one of these adorable animals with these polar bear and penguin plush puppets we found!
First we spotted the polar bear with blue, green and gold accents all around just like the puppet we see around Discovery Island. It also features the “Animal Kingdom” logo embroidered in blue on one of his paws.

The penguin is so adorable and huggable featuring purple on his head and blue accents on his arms.

Take home these Amazing Holiday Treats from the Donut Box in Epcot. Why has it never occurred to me to try a Cronut donut? I am now kicking myself for not enjoying this amazing treat for the past 20 years! The one at The Donut Box is a true treat. Tron Lightcycle Run Walkway being Construction Outside Light & Power Co. Opened in 1995 as a Video Arcade and Gift Shop, the building has never really felt like it belonged. Even after Disney routed Space Mountains’ exit through Light & Power in 2015, it still felt out of place. Inside the gift shop, it sold various things that did not match. Tech, and bricks? Now, maybe, with Tron Lightcycle/ Run about to open, this building may finally find its place in Disney’s Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland.
Construction is almost complete. Work is being done on the outside facade and walkway. We can see concrete blocks are about to be laid down. The ground is flattened and ready for the installation of the blocks. For the Facade, it appears that only the lighting needs to be done.
Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. should become the new gift shop for both Space Mountain and the new Tron Coaster. I would expect it to be open the same day as Disney’s newest Coaster.

From the Big Screen to the Theme Park
In 1982, Disney made filmmaking history with TRON, the first production of its kind to mix live action with computer-generated visuals and backlit animation. This iconic film went on to inspire video games, comic books, an animated series and the 2010 sequel TRON: Legacy—as well as this new Disney theme park attraction.

Remodel Underway for Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland is currently undergoing a remodel and renovation. The hotel is getting a completely new theme! Previously themed to California beachfront boardwalks, the hotel will be getting a Pixar overhaul. Once the remodel is complete, it will be called the Pixar Place Hotel.
One side of the hotel has been painted white with red, blue, and yellow vertical stripes going down the building. The other side of the hotel was painted white with no stripes as of the day we visited.
We also noticed a change to the front of the building. Part of the one vertical beam has started to be painted black with some silver paneling added. It looks like the hotel will be getting a more modern look. One of the side entrance doors is also blocked with a sign stating it’s only available for construction access.
That brings us to the front entrance of the hotel. Guests will need to enter the hotel another way as the entire front entrance is blocked by a barrier wall. A sign on the wall tells guests where to access the temporary entrance. You can also see more parts of the building have been painted white.
According to Disney, the Pixar Place Hotel “will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting, including fantastic areas for everyone to enjoy, like this “Finding Nemo”-themed splash pad area.”
We can’t wait to see what the hotel looks like when it’s finished!

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel Decorated for the Holidays
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel at the Disneyland Resort is all decorated for the holidays! Wreaths, garlands, and even a huge Christmas tree adorn the outside of the hotel as well as the lobby.
Outside of the hotel is a holiday display with a reindeer and Christmas trees. The median is full of poinsettias too!
A huge wreath hangs above the alcove where the fireplace sits. Garlands can be seen hanging around the upper levels of the lobby and over doors. All of the greenery is decorated with ornaments, lights, citrus, and pinecones.
In the center of the lobby, next to the baby grand piano, you’ll see the 35-foot Christmas tree! The tree is decorated with white and yellow lights, ornaments, pine cones, and other Craftsman-style ornaments. Multiple lanterns can be seen on the tree and a few reindeer top the tree. Santa’s chair and some gifts sit at the side of the tree. Guests can visit with Santa at different times throughout the day.
If you’d like to see a large gingerbread display, you won’t want to miss the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Californian hotel! It is a replica of the hotel and is 7 feet tall and 12 feet wide. The house is created from more than 600 pounds of gingerbread, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 250 pounds of fondant, 1 pound of pixie dust, and features 25 hidden Mickeys. Oh and it smells delicious! Next to the display is a stand where you can purchase gingerbread cookies and other holiday treats.

Disney To Update Genie+ for Lightning Lane Selections
A change is coming to Disney Genie+ soon to improve usability. Disney will be updating Genie+ for Lightning Lane selections. Guests will be able to modify their Lightning Lane selection without canceling and rebooking.
Currently, guests can make Lightning Lane selections but if they want to change or modify the selections they have to cancel and rebook. With the update, guests will be able to search for other available Lightning Lane attractions or arrival times and swap them. This will make changing Lightning Lane selections easier and require fewer steps.
Disney Genie+ is an add-on service at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. The service allows guests to make Lightning Lane reservations for select rides among other things.
The changes should go into effect within the next few weeks for both Disney World’s My Disney Experience App and Disneyland’s Disneyland App.

Center Street Construction in the Magic Kingdom is Finally Finished. We have been following the construction progress of Center Street since June 1st of 2022. Now, as of two weeks ago, the road is complete and refurbished.
The six-month construction project saw the construction crews remove all the brickwork. Included in the refurbishment was also leveling the road, installing a better drainage system to prevent flooding, and putting a protective barrier down under the new brickwork.
Now the road that sits right off of Main Street USA in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, and the home to Uptown Jewelers, is complete and open again fully. We can finally go under the Dance Studio and enjoy some quiet time in the park, as this is a fan-favorite relaxation spot. We enjoy getting a coffee in the morning from Main Street Bakery and sitting down to watch other crowds come in.
