Chris Pratt in talks to Star in Ghostbusters Afterlife Sequel

Chris Pratt continues to stay busy in Hollywood. The Guardians of the Galaxy Star has a lot of projects in the coming year, and Giant Freakin Robot is reporting that Pratt may be adding “Ghostbuster” to his impressive resume very soon. The site claims “trusted and proven sources” have Pratt in discussion to star in the direct sequel to the 2021 Ghostbusters Afterlife film.

No details have been provided as to the role Pratt would play, but given his experience in action and adventure films, Ghostbusters seems a logical fit given Pratt’s filmography. Marvel fans would undoubtedly delight in seeing Star-Lord and Ant-Man come together once again in an alternate universe.

Ghostbusters Afterlife was directed by Jason Reitman and experienced financial success with a 205 million dollar box office. The film saw the return of fan favorites Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson alongside a new supporting cast of characters. A third film had been in the works for decades since Ghostbusters 2, but production hit a snag following the passing of Harold Ramis in 2014. Bill Murray refused to make another film and Sony moved on instead with an all-female driven Ghostbusters film.

In 2019, Jason Reitman confirmed a sequel to the original films, a new cast was announced by July, and the original cast signed on two months later. Ghostbusters Afterlife has received public praise for its nostalgic tone and treatment of Ramis’s character Egon Spengler.

The sequel to Ghostbuster Afterlife has been tentatively set for December of 2023, and will see the franchise returning to NYC. Where Chris Pratt would fit into any of the future story is yet to be seen, but we are excited to see more Ghostbusters and Chris Pratt would certainly elevate this established franchise even further. Hawkeye Star Jeremy Renner Reality Show Rennervations Coming Soon to Disney+

Jeremy Renner is excited about the holidays but even more excited for what the future holds. The Hawkeye star took to Twitter to tease a new reality show dropping in early of 2023 on Disney+. Details are sparse, but we can glean from IMDB that the show will follow Renner as he travels the world helping communities by “reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles.”

Rennervations will be a four-part series that sees Renner creatively give back to the community, which has been a lifelong passion of the actors.

Disney quietly announced this non-scripted show alongside Brie Larson’s Growing Up earlier in the year. Disney continues to diversify its offerings with reality-based shows like Rennervations, and fans of the star can celebrate his return to the small screen “early next year.”

Disney brings the magic everywhere it’s involved but especially to Children’s Hospitals this holiday season! Throughout December Disney has brought special magic and holiday cheer to local children’s hospitals as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse visited patients and families to share the joy of the season.

“This is the first time we’ve welcomed our favorite Disney pals back to the hospital since 2019,” said Dr. Rajan Wadhawan, Senior Executive Officer of AdventHealth for Children. “Seeing them walk the halls again brought a renewed sense of optimism and hope to our patients and staff.”

With each room visit, magical moments turned into transformational experiences for the families and children, providing a special space where they were able to create new happy memories together – and we’re excited for these visits to continue regularly in the new year.

“It’s hard to put into words how it felt to bring a little light and see these patients simply be kids,” said Stefanie Steele, Senior Manager – Corporate Social Responsibility. “I’m proud to work for a company that cares so deeply about making positive impacts in the lives of people and the places we call home.”

Disney is also delivering extra pixie dust this season through the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive supporting the Marine Toys for Tots Program – a tradition now 75 years in the making. This year, Walt Disney World cast members and visiting guests donated more than 40,000 toys to help local children and families in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.

Will Avatar: Way of the Water Bring Home an Oscar? The newest blockbuster from James Cameron is receiving decent reviews from moviegoers, and it is reflected in the box office receipts. Surpassing $600 Million globally as of this writing, and having a possible total of close to a Billion dollars by the end of the long Holiday weekend. It apparently is time to talk oscar consideration.

Reports have come out that avatar is now on the shortlist for very obvious Oscar contention. Especially with how stunning this movie looks, and sounds. Avatar The Way of Water is apparently going to be up for Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound, and Best Visual Effects.

Simon Franglen has scored Avatar The Way of Water, and The Weeknd performs Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength).

The first Avatar movie, which is still the biggest-selling movie of all time, with box office receipts at $1.9 billion dollars, was nominated for 9 Acadamy Awards and ended up bringing home 3 awards. Best Achievement in Cinematography, Best Achievement in Visual Effects, and Best Achievement in Art Direction

Disney World Enforcing Parking Restrictions for Guests with Reservations Only. We know the parking question comes up all year long, but more so during the Holidays here at Walt Disney World Resort. Some people are headed to the parks, but first want to stop and see the Gingerbread Displays, or maybe you have a Dining reservation at a Monorail resort loop hotel.

Let’s try and break down the restrictions of what you can and cannot do during the Holidays when it comes to parking.

The actual rule of parking at Disney Resort is both simple, and not very simple at the same time. You cannot park at a Disney resort if you are only going to a Park unless you are a guest of that resort.

At Deluxe Resorts, Resorts closest to the parks, and some along the Skyline you must either be a guest of the resort or must have a dining reservation at that resort.

At the outside resorts such as All-Stars, Port Orleans, and Coronado parking can be hit or miss depending on the guards, we really do not know.

You can access the resorts, say to see the Gingerbread House display at grand Floridian Resort and Spa by bus, water taxi, monorail, or uber/Lyft. They are still open for everyone to see the holiday decorations and displays.

So here is a major issue that pops up when Disney is expecting larger crowds, like the 50th Anniversary or Christmastime. Even if you want to visit an actual paying guest staying at any resort, you may be turned away and told to find a different route to the Resort to visit them.

New Papel Picado Minnie Ears Available At Animal Kingdom!

We found these Papel Picado Minnie Ears inspired in the Dia de los Muertos tradition at Riverside Depot in Animal Kingdom for $34.99. The headband is so unique and colorful, perfect to add to your collection.

It features padded ears in black and hot pink with a heart and sugar skull designed to look like they are made out of papel picado, a traditional Mexican decorative craft made by cutting elaborate designs into sheets of tissue paper.

The headband also features cempasuchil flowers (marigold flowers) in orange and yellow, a traditional flower used during Dia de los Muertos.

New Coming of Age Adventure Crater coming to Disney+ in 2023. Back in 2015 Crater was listed as one of the best-unproduced screenplays, 21st Century Fox bought the rights, and then Disney bought Fox, and the film was shifted around. Finally, Disney has announced this will see the light of day in 2023 on the Disney + platform.

“Crater” is the coming-of-age adventure story of Caleb Channing (Isaiah Russell-Bailey), who was raised in a lunar mining colony and is about to be permanently relocated to an idyllic faraway planet following the death of his father.

But before leaving, to fulfill his dad’s last wish, he and his three best friends, Dylan (Billy Barratt), Borney (Orson Hong) and Marcus (Thomas Boyce), and a new arrival from Earth, Addison (Mckenna Grace), hijack a rover for one final adventure on a journey to explore a mysterious crater.

With a budget of around $53 million dollars, you can expect a decent showing. We got to see a teaser during this year’s D23 Expo in California and can’t wait to see the final product. Expect to see Disney’s advertising arm in full swing in late January 2023.

Celebrate 100 years of wonder and remember this magical milestone forever with this gorgeous Cinderella Castle Disney 100 snowglobe! We were so happy to find the Walt Disney World version at Magic Kingdom since only the Disneyland version is available at shopDisney.

The snowglobe features a platinum Cinderella castle over a white base with the Disney 100 Years of Wonder logo on the front and Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto around the snowglobe. So cute! We definitely need this in our home.
