Special Edition Disney Movies Being Released for Disney100
As part of the Disney 100 celebration, Disney has announced a special series of anniversary re-releases of some of the most beloved films from the Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm studios. A selection of titles will be released nationwide in special platinum-style collectible O-sleeves. There will also be numerous retail exclusives, with Best Buy offering special SteelBooks of select titles and Walmart offering exclusive collectible pins on all Disney100 animated titles.

AMC Theater in Disney Springs Decorated for the Release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. NO SPOILERS! AMC24 in Disney Springs knows how to advertise. The theater knows how to be eye candy and try to get you interested in the newest Walt Disney Company movie, whether it is a Disney Animation or a Marvel cinematic universe movie. It is now fully decorated with banners, photo ops, and movie posters for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang.

Dress Shop Has Returned to Disney Springs. Well, that did not last long! Marketplace Co-op in Disney Springs was transformed into a National Geographic store for the last few months and took over the space that was The Dress Shoppe.
The Dress Shop has returned to the Marketplace Coop. Selling some of the Dress Shoppe collections, along with the new Tiana collection by Color Me Courtney. The store has the dresses on display and when a dress drops, they will have a model showing off the newest stuff.

Mickey100 Statue at World of Disney in Disney Springs. When the Disney100 started a last month, we got a huge amount of merchandise and Disney dedicated the main space at World of Disney. Disney has decorated the whole area and now added a platinum Mickey Mouse statue. We have seen the same Mickey located in Disneyland, and one in Times Square in NYC.
From the Disneyland version of the Disney100 – “Around the resort, you’ll find platinum statues and medallions (pictured above) – which make great photo opportunities! Soon, we’ll share more details on how MagicBand+ will interact and add more dazzle to select Disney100 décor later this year.” which is more than likely what we shall see in the coming months once the 50th Anniversary is over on March 31st.

Mickey100 Statue at World of Disney in Disney Springs
Above is a matching statue that is located in the Disney Store in Times Square NYC.
Epcot’s Japan Pavilion has re-opened the Akoya Pearls Station. The pick-a-pearl experience is located in the Mitsukoshi Japanese gift shop. The Akoya Pearls Station had been closed for around three years due to the Covid Pandemic.
The experience allows guests to purchase and choose an oyster from the tank with much ceremony.
The guest points out which oyster they want and a cast member removes it from the tank.
The oyster is then opened and a pearl is revealed. Part of the fun is the surprise of not knowing exactly what you will get. The cost of the pick-a-pearl experience is $20.00 with tax.
You can also choose from additional options to house your pearl. Necklaces, sand jars, and gift boxes are among some of the selections available.
Mitsukoshi is not only home to the pick-a-pearl experience but also sells everything from housewares, apparel, pop culture items, and food and beverage.
The pick-a-pearl experience is a lot of fun for not only the guest picking out the oyster but for onlookers as well. It’s a very interactive and fun event to watch. I’m so happy that it’s finally back.

The cast of Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur celebrated Moon Girl’s arrival at Disney California Adventure!
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur have arrived at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort! The cast of the new Disney+ show recently celebrated at the park.
Diamond White (‘Lunella Lafayette’ aka ‘Moon Girl’), Fred Tatasciore (‘Devil Dinosaur’), Alfre Woodard (‘Mimi’), Libe Barer (‘Casey’), Gary Anthony Williams (‘Pops’), and Steve Loter (executive producer) were among the cast and creative team visiting Disney California Adventure.
‘Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’ based on Marvel’s comics follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl) and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City, the duo works together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices believe all children should have their dreams come true.
Thanks to Disney’s specialty training Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices are learning how to make sure every child regardless of color, gender, or disability has their wishes granted.
One of the ways that Disney is helping create an experience of inclusivity is by providing training in areas not normally covered by basic cosmetology. Learning how to style hair with different textures and styles ensures every child will receive the royal treatment.
“Cosmetology schools don’t spend much time on more texturized hair, so it can be difficult to get that experience,” Camelia, an apprentice, explains. “I’ve seen my peers grow through the training Disney provides us and our skills have blossomed.”
Highly Pigmented Cosmetics
Not only do the Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices have specialty training but Disney has armed them with special palettes with extra pigment ensuring that the colors will complement and flatter every skin type and color.
No detail goes without consideration. There are costumes of every size and some with special stretch fabrics for children needing larger sizing.
For children with medical needs or disabilities, there are costumes available that can accommodate all sorts of needs. Longer leg lengths and velcro-type closures for those who must remain seated.
“Seeing the delight on guests’ faces when they turn around and see themselves in the mirror is the best experience,” Shalise, an apprentice, adds. “We all have such unique memories and relationships with Guests that come back year after year to visit us. Now, we are opening the doors for children to build those magical connections with even more cast members because when they walk through our doors because parents know they can trust any one of us to deliver an unforgettable experience.”
“What we do here isn’t just a makeover. We give our guests the ability to believe in make-believe. No matter who they are, where they come from, or what they’ve gone through, they have the chance to be a knight or princess,” Shalise shares.

Parents can rest easy knowing that the Fairy Godmother’s very own apprentices are doing their very best to make sure every child will have a very magical moment from the minute they enter until the minute they are turned around for that final reveal in the mirror.

Universal Studios Hollywood recently hosted the Super Nintendo World Red Carpet Premiere! The energetic event was punctuated by a momentous countdown, spectacular fireworks display and special appearances by Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach, signaling the opening of this incredibly interactive and immersive land.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD officially opens to the public on Friday, February 17, 2023.

When riding “Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge,” guests are encouraged to tap their Power-Up Band on the ride vehicle’s steering wheel. Interactive Gameplay: Within the land, guests can enjoy many interactive areas, including punching ? Blocks to collect digital coins. They will discover a new dimension of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD via the interactive binoculars positioned within the land, employing augmented reality technology. Guests can also collect keys after winning the Key Challenges from Goomba Crazy Crank, Koopa Troopa POWer Punch, Piranha Plant Nap Mishap and Thwomp Panel Panic – collecting at least three keys will ultimately allow access to the final boss battle with Bowser Jr.
Toadstool Cafe™: The land’s signature restaurant Toadstool Café will serve a delicious menu perfected by Chef Toad where he greets guests upon entry. Menu items prepared fresh daily include Toadstool Cheesy Garlic Knots, Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese, Mario Bacon Cheeseburger, Luigi Pesto Chicken Burger, ?
