Pink Minnie-Shaped Cinnamon Roll Now Available for a Limited Time at the Magic Kingdom. So many snacks to eat, and so little time! Disney’s Magic Kingdom is constantly changing up the snacks and treats available, and we got over to Main Street bakery to try out the Minnie Cinnamon Roll.
The very pink roll is basically the Mickey-shaped Cinnamon Roll, just with new icing color. Also added was a chocolate Minnie Mouse bow. When you get this cinnamon roll warm, there may be no better morning treat. Served with a hot Starbucks coffee and a seat at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, watching Let the Magic Begin could be the ultimate Magic Kingdom morning.

The Magic Happens parade has returned to Disneyland! The parade debuted in 2020 just days before the pandemic shut down the parks. We’re so excited to see the parade back at Disneyland!
Led by Mickey Mouse and his pals, this daytime spectacular celebrates moments of magic from Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios films as they are brought to life on a grand scale with stunning floats, artistic costumes and an energetic musical score combined with beloved Disney tunes. In addition to the magnificent floats, the parade route along Main Street, U.S.A., fills with dynamic performers and more than two dozen Disney and Pixar characters.
The parade by Disney Live Entertainment features distinct stories with a mix of characters, making it feel contemporary and classic, fun and regal, and surprising and familiar – all at the same time.
Fun facts about ‘Magic Happens’ • The parade features nine floats created as pieces of moving art, with their lines and aesthetic design working to tell a story along the parade route. Alongside are more than 90 performers, and more than two dozen of them are Disney and Pixar characters. • Two original songs add to the musical flow of the parade: the main theme, “Magic Happens,” and a special song for the grand finale. The finale score includes musical nods to past Disney entertainment productions that have special meaning to show director Jordan Peterson, weaving in themes from the “Remember the Magic” parade as well as the “Wishes” and “Remember… Dreams Come True” fireworks spectaculars. • The parade’s costume design draws inspiration directly from modern runways, making each costume look fashion-forward, yet uniquely Disney. • Featuring a musical score and new songs co-composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall, the “Magic Happens” soundtrack and choreography are heavily influenced by today’s pop culture, putting a contemporary spin on classic Disney hits.

We found it at Hollywood Studios for $39.99, and is also available online at shopDisney!
The design is filled with nostalgia featuring different scenes from the short film on both sides of the ears, a nautical rope trim and the Disney100 plate on one side. So cute!

Cast Members at EPCOT leave their mark on a steel beam that will be used in the upcoming World Celebration neighborhood
Walt Disney World Cast Members, including Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle and the 2023 Walt Disney World Ambassadors, were recently afforded the opportunity to leave their mark on the EPCOT World Celebration neighborhood.
The cast members signed a steel beam that will be used in the neighborhood’s construction. The World Celebration neighborhood is an integral part of the re-imagining of EPCOT, which includes transforming the current Future World section of the park into three neighborhoods: World Discovery, World Nature, and World Celebration.

Permits Suggest Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be Closed Longer than Expected
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently closed for a major refurbishment. Permits suggest the attraction will be closed longer than we expected.
There are two permits filed for the coaster, each one with an expiration date in September 2023. One was filed with Adena Corporation. The company specializes in coaster track work and has worked on several Disney projects, including TRON Lightcycle Run. The permit expires on September 7, 2023.
The other permit was filed with Maddox and expires on September 14, 2023. This permit covers electrical work.
The Disney World website states, “This rocktastic attraction will resume its super-stretch limo rides in summer 2023.” While the official summer season ends on September 23, the permit dates technically line up with Disney’s estimated reopening for the ride.

Pete Docter Opens Up About Lightyear Flop. Pixar CCO Pete Docter explains why the Toy Story spinoff starring Chris Evans failed at the box office.
“We’ve done a lot of soul-searching about that because we all love the movie,” Docter told the Wrap in an extended interview. “We love the characters and the premise. I think probably what we’ve ended on in terms of what went wrong is that we asked too much of the audience. When they hear Buzz, they’re like, great, where’s Mr. Potato Head and Woody and Rex? And then we drop them into this science fiction film that they’re like, What? Even if they’ve read the material in press, it was just a little too distant, both in concept, and I think in the way that characters were drawn, that they were portrayed.”
“It was much more of a science fiction,” the Oscar-winning director of Up, Monsters Inc. and Inside Out continued. “And Angus [MacLane, director], to his credit, took it very seriously and genuinely and wanted to represent those characters as real characters. But the characters in Toy Story are much broader, and so I think there was a disconnect between what people wanted/expected and what we were giving to them.”
Seems like he understands exactly what went wrong, and we shall see how Pixar goes about fixing issues like this in the future.
New Flooring Installed in Space Mountain Queue at Magic Kingdom. Disney World is doing a good job at cleaning up and fixing things around Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom prior to the opening of Tron Lightcycle/ Run on April 4th, 2023.
Space Mountain is getting the once over right now, with the outside being cleaned and painted. Furthermore, Disney is refurbishing the flooring in the queue on the long-running attraction. The new flooring is space-like, meaning it looks like stars when viewed in the areas around the ride with the black lights.
It appears Disney is going to replace the whole queue with this new flooring. In the image below you can see the wear and tear since the last time they worked on the flooring. We also noticed they are replacing the carpeted areas at the exit to Space Mountain.
Dip and careen into the inky blackness as a futuristic soundtrack echoes all around you. Fly past shooting stars and celestial satellites. Roar past streaking orbs of light, wayward comets and migrant meteors. Feel the pull of gravity as you’re drawn into a swirling wormhole!
