This Fort Wilderness Merchandise Collection Is A Must Have!

Get immerse into the American frontier and wildlife with this Fort Wilderness merchandise collection we found at the resort! It includes apparel, home decor, accessories and more, you will for sure find something you will want to take home, take a look:

First we spotted these button ups and shirts in earthy tones with the Fort Wilderness Resort logo, a map of the resort and Chip & Dale enjoying a nice day camping! So cute.

For drinkware we found mugs, water bottles and plates with brown and green colors that reminded us of the type of dishes you would have during your camping trip.

For home decor we spotted a folding chair with a little table attached, perfect to spend some time around a fire. There’s also a blanket for those chilly nights, a picture frame to display memories of your trip forever, some art decor and an ornament for this next holiday season!

For accesories we found a very fuzzy hat and a Chip & Dale ear headband that is very unique and fun! A must have in your collection for sure.

Other items we found were patches and games like a tic tac toe! Very fun and cute items.

Walt Disney World Railroad Collectible Medallions Available At Magic Kingdom!

Get all aboard and bring home these Walt Disney World Railroad Collectible Medallions we found at the Main Street Station in Magic Kingdom! There are four different designs featuring beloved Disney characters, a great little token to take home and remember you visit to the most magical place on earth.

You can get the 4 of them for $20 or 1 for $6. The designs include Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy with the Walt Disney World Railroad logo and a plate with different numbers.

The back of each medallion features a different locomotive, for example Mickey’s medallion features the Walter E. Disney 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler from 1925, Minnie’s medallion features the Lilly Belle from 1926, Donald’s the Roger E. Broggie from 1925 and Goofy’s the Roy O. Disney locomotive from 1916.

The refurbishment of Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland has brought an all-new soundtrack for fans to enjoy

Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park recently re-opened to guests after a refurbishment. Guests unable to check out Toontown in person, or those looking to extend their Disneyland experience to their homes, can head over to Spotify or Apple music to experience the all-new Mickey’s Toontown playlist.

The playlist, released in 2023, provides at-home access to the music guests experience at Toontown, including “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” from Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme.

New Concept Art and Details Revealed for Cotino a Storyliving by Disney Community

Sales for the Rancho Mirage, California-area Cotino community are expected to begin this year

Storyliving by Disney will provide master-planned communities in various locals designed by Disney Imagineers. The communities will bring the ‘Disney difference’ to homeowners, including placemaking by Imagineers, Disney’s legendary customer service, and engaging club entertainment and programming.

Disney has just released concept art and amenity details for Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community that will be located in Rancho Mirage, California.

The Artisan Club at Cotino will provide a wide array of activities and offerings, including “a one-of-a-kind gathering space inspired by an “incredible” location from a fan-favorite Pixar film”-Parr House.

Parr House is inspired by the midcentury home featured in Disney and Pixar’s Incredibles 2, and will serve as a “super” fun place for special events, celebrations, and limited overnight accommodations for Artisan Club members.”

The main entertainment room of Parr House draws inspiration directly from the film. Parr House will also contain five bedrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a boardroom, and an art studio.

Club members will also enjoy amenities such as dining, wellness, art, recreation, and entertainment at the Clubhouse, which will be managed by Disney cast members. The Clubhouse is being designed by Imagineers as a location where members can pursue individual passions while also enhancing relationships among fellow community members.

Sales for Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community, are expected to begin in 2023.

The Confectionery takes Easter treats to the next level

The Confectionery on Main Street U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom has always been a favorite stop for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth. Items like Carmel Apples, Rice Crispy Treats, and Cupcakes are delicious and include the expected Disney flair. With the Easter season upon us, we have a new lineup of themed treats to enjoy.

Rice Crispy Treats, Cupcakes, and Carmel Apples are among the Confectionery treats that are decorated in Easter colors. Don’t worry though, your traditional favorites are on hand as well. The Easter Bunny has arrived via the Carmel Apple above, with the traditional Minnie Mouse-themed caramel apple present in the background.

The cupcakes at the Confectionery are always amazingly soft and moist, with the addition of Easter-themed icing a great added bonus.

Sugar cookies are one of my favorite snacks, and being able to enjoy them dressed up for Easter makes them even more enjoyable!

Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best returns to Star Wars as a Jedi in the Mandalorian

Mesa was so excited that Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best has returned to the Star Wars universe once again via The Mandalorian. Demanded by the Gods it was! John Favreau and Dave Filoni have made cannon Jedi Kelleran Beq who appears on Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge. This is not the first time Favreau and Filoni have elevated deep-cut Star Wars references, but in doing so, it offered the much-maligned Ahmed Best an opportunity for redemption.

Best was the target of some of the worst aspects of Star Wars fandom when his character Jar Jar Binks was scorned and loathed almost universally by fans, many of whom resorted to vile attacks on the actor himself. While Jar Jar Binks was slowly written out of the prequel trilogy, the pain, and polarization has stuck around for decades.

Best was given another opportunity with Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge, an online children’s game show where he helps younglings traverse an obstacle course. Best also appeared as Achk Med-Beq in Attack of the Clones during the bar chase scene featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. His return as Jedi Kelleran Beq elevates Ahmed Best back to his rightful place in the Star Wars universe. Fans took to social media to praise the redemption of the actor. Many kids grew up with fond memories of Jar Jar Binks, and so too has Ahmed Best.

****Spoiler Alert****

During the latest episode, “Chapter 20: The Foundling” of The Mandalorian Jedi Kelleran Beq saves Baby Grogu from Order 66 when the clones massacred all of the Jedi at the temple. We can now cease the endless speculation surrounding Mace Windu, Jocasta Nu, or even R2D2 as potential saviors of the Baby Jedi.

Kelleran Beq boards a Naboo cruiser and spirits Grogu away to places unknown, but given the abrupt end of the rescue, we may see Ahmed Best again in more flashbacks in the near future. Banners have Returned to Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom. When Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary started Fantasyland looked almost brand new. Disney had refurbished and painted almost the whole land. Princess Fairytale Hall looks stunning with the gold marquee, flags flying, and a new blue paint job.

A Month or so we noticed all the banners missing from the meet and greet location. Disney had removed them since they looked a little tattered by the Florida weather and wind.

Those banners have now been replaced and hung. The blue and purple with pink banners now fly again. Princess Fairytale Hall looks great with everything back, and now is a great time to meet your favorite Disney Princess. Cinderella, Elana, Rapunzel, Tiana, or maybe a visiting Princess will be in town for you to meet and greet.

Pathways Around Moana’s Journey of Water Almost Complete in EPCOT. Ground Work being done around Epcot’s newest attraction has been laid, and new walls have gone up surrounding it. Now, it looks like guests will have a new walkway between Spaceship Earth and The Seas building.

Of course, as soon as we write that the pathways look like they may open any day now, Disney has actually opened the new pathway. Journey of Water inspired by Moana is getting closer to being done, with an expected opening date of later in 2023.

We got a chance to ride the Monorail a few days ago and saw a lot of new black walls surrounding it, and new lighting had been installed. which could only mean the pathways would open soon, and lo and behold, they did.

Few Names Added to Eat to the Beat Concert Series for EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival

The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is returning to the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival this fall. A few musicians have been announced for the series lineup already!

Steve Soares from WDW Entertainment shared the news on Twitter. He shared that three musicians will be coming to the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. They are:

Tiffany: July 30-31
Haley Reinhart: August 11-12
Taylor Dayne: October 20-21

A few names have been released for Epcot's Eat to the Beat concert series: July 30-31 – Tiffany, August 11-12 – Haley Reinhart & October 20-21 – Taylor Dayne.

Both Tiffany and Taylor Dayne performed during the Food & Wine Festival last year. Stay tuned for the rest of this year’s lineup to be announced.

Concerts during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will perform on scheduled nights at 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8 pm at the American Gardens Theatre.

Guests hoping to experience a specialty dessert cruise at Disney World will have to wait. The Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise will be closed for over 3 months for refurbishment.

The Disney World website describes Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise as:

“Climb aboard one of Disney’s most iconic ferryboats for an unforgettable evening on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Start by checking in at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you’ll be greeted with a refreshing beverage before setting sail. Then let the ferryboat’s crew regale you with an entertaining backstory of the vessel’s magic.

Once you cast off, the celebration continues with a stellar selection of bite-size signature treats, from KABOOM! Cupcakes and Rocket Burst Popcorn Push Ups to Red Velvet Wow! Pie and Grand Finale Key Lime Tarts. You can even Build Your Own Mousse. All this alongside a bevy of specialty drinks—either with or without alcohol—themed to the sparkling, shooting stars of the fireworks. For the kiddos, there’s also an ultraviolet scavenger hunt. With Happily Ever After returning to Magic Kingdom next month, it’s a bummer this experience will be unavailable for a while.
