Barry Humphries, Voice of Bruce in ‘Finding Nemo,’ Dies at Age 89
Australian comedian Barry Humphries best known to Disney fans as the voice behind Bruce in the 2003 film, Finding Nemo, has passed away at the age of 89.
According to BBC, Humphries had been hospitalized in Sydney, Australia. The comedian fell in February and has been suffering from complications following surgery that occurred in March. Humphries’ family issued a statement, remembering him as “completely himself until the very end, never losing his brilliant mind, his unique wit and generosity of spirit”.
Humphries was in a number of other TV shows and movies including The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

We got our hands on the newest Disney Popcorn bucket to come to Walt Disney World. This is now the third Disney Skyliner bucket to be released. The first two are a red one featuring the Fab 5, and more recently a yellow 50th-anniversary bucket.
Halloween on the High Seas Returns this fallHalloween on the High Seas is returning to Disney Cruise Line this fall! National Treasure Edge if History Canceled After First Season. Joining The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers and Big Shot, along with Willow and The Mysterious Benedict Society. Disney has now canceled five shows in the last 3 months. This story was first reported in a Deadline article.
“National Treasure: Edge of History” has been canceled at Disney+ after one season, Variety has confirmed.
Based on the “National Treasure” film franchise, Disney’s TV adaptation followed treasure hunter Jess Venezuela. After a stranger gives her a tip about a centuries-old treasure possibly connected to her father, she and her friends set out on the hunt. Lisette Olivera, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Zuri Reed, Antonio Cipriano, Jordan Rodrigues, Jake Austin Walker, and Lyndon Smith were among the cast.
While there being no National Treasure: Edge of History Season 2 is disappointing news for fans, they can still be hopeful for a potential third movie. Jerry Bruckheimer recently gave a National Treasure 3 update saying that they are still developing a new movie that would be a theatrical release with Nicolas Cage starring.

More Barges Removed from EPCOT’s Harmonious. Later this year Disney100 celebration will come to EPCOT and Disney has almost finished removing the 50th Anniversary nighttime spectacular Harmonious and its water tacos. Furthermore, Disney has already removed the Stargate which was the centerpiece of Harmonious.
Plus, a new nighttime spectacular will debut at EPCOT later this year, inviting everyone to gather around World Showcase Lagoon for a show that will unite us through commonalities of the heart in a dazzling display of fireworks, lasers, music, and light.
Featuring an original composition along with select songs from the Disney songbook, this new spectacular will remind us that we’re more alike than different, connecting our hearts together as one.
You can see in the images, above and below, the state of the World Showcase Lagoon. Only two barges remain (Water Tacos). Very little of the centerpiece is left over, as the water fountain arms and giant stargate have already been removed.
New Disney100 Sign added to EPCOT. We know EPCOT will become home to the Disney100 celebration here at Walt Disney World, and now we are starting to see signs around the park that the party is about to begin, with the placing of the newest D100 sign on the World Showcase Bridge.
EPCOT will host the Disney100 celebration at Walt Disney World Resort to commemorate this monumental milestone later this year. As well as all the new attractions and experiences I’ve mentioned, there will be even more magic.

EPCOT New Directional Park Signage. The walkways around the three neighborhoods have shifted recently with the construction of Journey of Water inspired by Moana attraction being close to completion.
Looking at Spaceship Earth on the right side is a walkway that has been reopened with new signage added where there is going to be a fork in the road eventually. The new signage lets you know you are in World Celebration. While giving you directions to the other neighborhoods, World Nature and World Discovery.

In celebration of the park’s milestone anniversary and Earth Day, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy new limited-time sweet and savory treats, specialty merchandise and a character sighting.

Davis took a tour of TRON Lightcycle Run on March 9, 2023. She was guided by Walt Disney Imagineer, Missy Renard. Renard explained much of the lighting system as well as how the ride system is different from other attractions.
Davis was then “digitized” and got to experience the ride for herself.

Trattoria al Forno will be closed for dinner during this time but a limited breakfast menu will be available. Guests who book breakfast during the closure will be directed to dine in the Flying Fish dining room. The nearby Pizza Window will also be closed during that time.
Character dining hasn’t yet returned to Trattoria al Forna. We’re hoping this closure will bring back the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast. The character breakfast featured characters from Tangled and The Little Mermaid. Did you ever experience this character meal?
