New Sweet Treats At The Pop Century Resort

I am always looking around to find new snacks when I am at the Walt Disney World Resort, so today I stopped by the Pop Century Resort to see what I could find.  Today’s hunt did not disappoint!  I found a new sweet treat!  The Fruit Ring Krispy Treat is a play on the traditional Krispy Treats you can find throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.  With it’s vibrant colors, it fits the personality of the Pop Century Resort beautifully!

This treat has “Fruit Ring” cereal with that lots of yummy gooey marshmallow.  The bar is topped with chocolate and rainbow sprinkles.  It can be found in the Pop Century Resort food court and is priced at $5.49.  It is a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan and is eligible for the Tables In Wonderland Discount.

Of course, I had to taste this beauty and it did not disappoint!

The Fruity Krispy Ring treat is sweet!  I found it much sweeter than the usual crispy cereal treats.  You can definitely taste all the fruity goodness.  It brought me back to the times of cereal in front of the television with Saturday morning cartoons.  Well played Pop Century!!!!

I talked to the Chef at the Pop Century resort about allergens.  I was informed that this treat does contain gluten, soy and dairy. It also has a possible nut exposure warning (although there are no nuts in the treat itself).

You will also notice that this treat is thick!  It is harder to bite because the rings are bigger than the smaller crispy treat cereal.  Like other treats with the marshmallow base, it will start to melt in the heat, so grab some shade and lots of napkins. It is also large enough the share.  So find and friend and enjoy the sugar rush!  Stay tuned to see what other goodies I find!!!
