Magic Kingdom's Ferry

New second deck platform is being built for Magic Kingdom’s Ferry. We finally got a chance to get back to Magic Kingdom this morning, after being blocked out for the past few days, due to black-out dates for our Annual pass holder level. Finally getting back, the first thing we noticed is the second deck platform for the Magic Kingdom’s Ferry is almost complete.

The new second deck platform originally opened a few weeks ago on the Magic Kingdom side of the Seven Seas Lagoon. It looks like the new exit off the second level will be complete rather quickly on the TTC side of things.

The new second-level walkway and stairs are being built to help alleviate the congestion at the end of the night when the park closes. Or in some cases, when the fireworks are over and an After-Hours event is taking place. The upstairs is specifically for able-bodied persons. There is no handicap ramp for wheelchairs, or for that matter strollers or wheeled electric scooters. This is not a bad thing, this means more parking space on the lower decks for those needing it.
