New Movie Posters Pop Up in Animation Courtyard

A fresh wave of cinematic charm has arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, as new posters have begun appearing around the Animation Courtyard. These striking new displays pay tribute to classic Disney animated films, offering guests a nostalgic look at the studio’s rich storytelling heritage.

On a recent visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we caught a firsthand glimpse of the ongoing transformation taking over Animation Courtyard. The entire area is undergoing a comprehensive refresh, coinciding with the highly anticipated overhaul of the Star Wars Launch Bay inside The Magic of Disney Animation pavilion.

Set to be officially rebranded as The Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, the neighborhood has been completely repainted and modernized to offer an authentic, immersive environment inspired by the historic Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California.

While updates from earlier this week highlighted new signage and the temporary removal of old displays, a fresh wave of permanent artwork has now arrived. The exterior of the newly painted “studio lot” buildings is now decorated with vibrant new posters that celebrate both beloved Disney animated classics and modern blockbusters. Though the area’s grand reopening is still about a week away, guests can already spot the stunning new displays from the main walkways, featuring artwork honoring films like Dumbo, Lady and the Tramp, Tangled, and the new Zootopia 2.
