My family loves to collect pressed pennies when we visit Disney. Those have been a favorite of many over the years, but recently, there’s a new kid on the block – the commemorative coin.
The latest edition of these is a series of 4 coins honoring the 2019 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival. These collectible coins can only be found at one machine, located in the Odyssey pavilion, serving as the festival center in Epcot.
There are four designs to collect in all, each with a different design and finish.
- Minnie Mouse on a shiny Gold
- Figment on a brassy Gold
- Floral Motif on Rose Gold
- Figment close-up on Bronze
The reverse of each coin is the same, featuring Spaceship Earth with a World Showcase skyline in the front, and the monorail running in the back.
We ran into two Chip & Co readers who agreed to model their coins for us! They are so cute, and the perfect little souvenir to commemorate a visit to the beautiful festival. Thanks ladies!
The coins are available at the machine for $5 for one, or $10 for 3. The machine accepts $1, $5, and $10 bills, or most major credit cards via swipe or tap-to-pay. MagicBand payments are NOT accepted at this machine.
Now the hardest choice is to pick just one, or get them all! They are all so cute!

$5 is highway robbery! Disneyland Paris have these same coins and they are $2 euros. I bought these same coins at the Paris landmarks where they also sell for $2 euros. (at today’s exchange rate that is $1.12)
