New Disney+ Survey Shares America’s Thoughts on the New Streaming Service. With a various worldwide releases for Disney+ set in 2020, highspeedinternet.com took a survey of America’s Disney+ streaming habits to share with the world.
Here are America’s Thoughts on Disney+:
The Mandalorian was an instant success and has taken the internet by storm for MONTHS now, especially with the obsession of a new character, The Child, also known by fans as “Baby Yoda”. According to HSI’s survey, 38% of Disney+ users have watched every episode of The Mandalorian. This was the first live-action Star Wars series for the franchise and with it’s roaring success, has led to the development of another Star Wars series for Disney+, the currently Untitled Kenobi series, set to be directed by Deborah Chow.
Only a small percentage of subscribers have yet to watch any Disney+ Original content such as The Imagineering Story, Encore!, Forky Asks A Question, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, and more. HSI shares that only 16% of subscribers have yet to access this content, and are sticking to Disney classic content. We hope this changes soon! Disney+ has had some excellent content premiere on the streaming service and it would be a shame to miss out on the opportunity for deeper storytelling that we don’t get to see in theaters or on tv.
More than half of Disney+ subscribers prefer to stream classic Disney content. 54% to be exact! Not to say that newer films and shows are not performing well, but it seems most subscribers have been excited to access titles that have long since been locked away in “The Disney Vault”. With unprecedented access to titles such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and more, they are able to see films and shows that have been scarcely available for decades.
Disney+ subscribers love the streaming service! So much so that 95% of subs plan to continue their subscription for another year, and possibly longer. This bodes well for Disney Fans around the world who have yet to receive access to the streaming service. This means subscribers find the content engaging, are anticipating new titles that will be available exclusively on Disney+, and are enjoying their experience with the streaming service so far.
Personally, I can not wait for the new and exciting content coming soon to Disney+. I also enjoy getting to introduce my favorite Disney shows and movies from my childhood to my family. There is nothing better than getting to bond with your kids over shared interests and Disney+ has it all!
Have you been enjoying Disney+ so far? Do you prefer the new content or the Disney Classics? What shows and films do you stream the most? Which titles are you excited to see coming soon to Disney+? Will you be subscribing to more Disney+ in the future? We would love to know in the comments! Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co for all things Disney+
