Matterhorn closing for refurbishment in August at Disneyland
The Matterhorn Bobsleds attraction in Disneyland is closing in August for refurbishment. The attraction will close on August 8, 2022, with no set reopening date.

On the Matterhorn Bobsleds, guests “hurtle through a snow-capped mountain on a speeding alpine sled while avoiding the clutches of the Abominable Snowman.” It’s a thrilling ride with two different tracks. One track is on the Fantasyland side of the mountain and the other is on the Tomorrowland side.

The Disneyland website does not give a reopening date for the attraction but says “Please check back here for updates.”
We are sad the ride will be closed during the summer, but hope it won’t be down for too long!
