Masquerade

We were invited to attend the Masquerade bash at The Edison on February 22, 2020. The Edison is a restaurant and bar venue that offers entertainment in an industrial gothic themed atmosphere. You can find The Edison at Disney Springs in Orlando.

Since it was The Edison’s inaugural Masquerade event, many guests were eager to enter to enjoy their evening. The Masquerade event costs $65 per person and guests are required to be 21+. Guests had to dress up and masks were mandatory for attending the Masquerade. The masks were a fun feature for guests since the theme is filled with “electrifying mystique and intrigue” for party goers.

Entertainment

The Edison offered a great variety of entertainment for the Masquerade event. From a live band and singers to aerial performers and stilt walkers, the place had it all!

The band played a great mix of songs. Finding live music is a real treat these days and it’s fun to enjoy musical talent. We were quite thrilled with the band playing at The Edison. Everyone listening and dancing to them had a fantastic time.

The band stopped when it was time for the aerial performers to take the floor. Watching the aerial performers is a must if you visit The Edison.

Everyone loved the aerial performers at the Masquerade party. Guests stood in awe of their performance since it’s not something you see every day! They put on two separate aerial performances during the Masquerade bash.

We also saw cabaret-style dancers who came out for a few musical numbers. These skilled dancers impressed the crowd with their talent. Lastly, a live DJ was also on hand for the evening. The DJ supplied lively music to fill the air with excitement, and to pump energy into the masked guests on the dance floor.

Cocktails for Masquerade

The Edison offered a special cocktail menu for the Masquerade event. Guests were given three drink tickets upon entering the venue. Some of the unique cocktails we tried included the following:

”Marg Me!” – El torsoro reposado, triple sec, lime juice, watermelon juice, agave, and strawberry. This drink, which is featured above, became one of our favorites!

Another fun feature were the tonics, which were specialty-themed shots for guests. You couldn’t use a drink ticket for purchasing them, but it was a great offering for Masquerade guests.
