Guests visiting Walt Disney World can expect to wear Face Masks while on Disney Transportation through Jan 18th, 2022 according to Reuters.
President Joe Biden’s administration confirmed late on Tuesday night that it plans to extend requirements for travelers to wear masks on airplanes, trains, and buses and at airports through January 18th, 2022 to address ongoing COVID-19 risks.

Currently, the Face Mask Policy at Walt Disney World reads:
Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) while indoors and in Disney buses, monorail and Disney Skyliner, regardless of vaccination status. This includes upon entering and throughout all attractions. Face coverings remain optional for all Guests in outdoor common areas.
The extension reflects the impact of the highly transmissible Delta variant and is an acknowledgment that transit remains potentially risky, especially for unvaccinated people. Last week the Canada Government plans to require all airline passengers to be vaccinated, meanwhile, the United States is still on the fence about making vaccines required for all airline passengers.
The previous federal mandate requiring face coverings on all transportation was set to expire on September 13, 2021. Disney will follow the CDC recommended guidelines for face coverings if they are extended to 2022 as they have done in the past.
