Marvel’s She-Hulk Season 2 Planned for Disney+
Rumor has it that a second season of She-Hulk is being planned over at Marvel after the strike has concluded. Marvel might begin developing the sophomore season of the Tatiana Maslany led superhero project once the WGA and SAG/AFTRA have reached a deal with the studio. She-Hulk focused on the cousin of Bruce Banner and followed Jennifer Walters as she balanced her new Hulk powers with her career as an attorney.
The rumor comes courtesy of X (Formerly Twitter), where @MytimetoshineHello shared an animated GIF with the caption “She-Hulk season 2 is happening…”
While there is no concrete evidence to support season 2 of She-Hulk, given the season finale, one could assume a Season 2 was always planned. Season 1 left a lot of room for Jennifer Walters and She-Hulk’s story to be continued by Marvel. However much may have changed over at the studio given the poor performance of Secret Invasion and Iger’s comments that Marvel TV has, “frankly, it diluted focus and attention.”
She-Hulk’s star Tatiana Maslany had choice words for Bob Iger saying that the CEO of Disney was, “completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money.” While such terse words don’t doom a potential second season, it potentially creates stresses between the studio and the talent.
