After nine episodes, Marvel’s ”She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” season has wrapped up.

For starters, the show runners cite the John Byrne run of SHE-HULK comics for inspiration for this episode’s extreme four-wall break, explaining “It felt natural that not only that she was in a show, but that she would have opinions about the show.” Without giving any spoilers, the show did give some extra-special meta moments. She-Hulk very obviously, but also ironically, teased a potential Season 2. So now we’re wondering if Season 2 is actually a real possibility for the MCU ”lawyer comedy.”

Currently, She-Hulk has not been confirmed to be renewed for a second season at Disney+. However, that isn’t exactly abnormal in the landscape of MCU Disney+ shows, as nearly all of them have been self-contained stories that later feed into movies or other properties. The only live-action Marvel Disney+ show to immediately be confirmed for a second season was Loki.

It’s the dialogue in the season finale that teases fans about further adventures for She-Hulk in a potential season two.

Back in August, executive producer Jessica Gao made her own comments in a Deadline interview in regards to speculation about a potential season two:

Coming from television, you can never guarantee that you’re going to get another season with a first season show. So it’s kind of been trained into my head that, on a first-season show, you really have to tell a complete story that you’d be satisfied with if this is only a one-and-done. Just because there’s never a guarantee, you just never know if you’re going to get another season, so you can’t really hold back and just leave things open-ended. You do have to tell some sort of satisfying arc in one season just in case, and then of course you leave the door open for possibilities for a second, third, and fourth season. So that was kind of my mental approach to it.”

We’ll have to wait and see what happens to other MCU heroes such as Hulk, Wong, and Daredevil as their stories continue!
