The series earned a 56% score overall and a 59% audience score. These low rankings should be a concern for Kevin Feige and Disney CEO Bob Iger. Iger recently commented on CNBC that Marvel and Star Wars will start pulling back on Marvel and Star Wars by creating less content. Iger stated, “not only did they [Marvel] increase their movie output, but they ended up making a number of TV series…Frankly, it diluted focus and attention.”
It seems that the zeal for new Marvel shows has cooled off tremendously in the past year. The next Marvel series is Loki Season 2 coming in October 6, 2023. What did you think of Secret Invasion? Do you think the ratings are accurate? Let us know your thoughts in a comment.
