Marvel Releases All-New Deadpool & Wolverine Trailer during the Super Bowl

Marvel Studios stunned Super Bowl audiences with an unexpected treat – the “Deadpool 3” trailer, a two-minute whirlwind of red-and-black chaos and humor.

Ryan Reynolds reprised his role as the irreverent Deadpool, delivering witty one-liners and explosive action. The trailer hinted at new characters and left fans buzzing with theories about the storyline and potential crossovers within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Social media erupted with excitement, and Reynolds himself joined the fun with a humorous tweet.

Director Shawn Levy reunites with Ryan Reynolds (known for “Free Guy” and “The Adam Project”) and Hugh Jackman (“Real Steel”) in the third installment of the Deadpool trilogy. The collaboration marks a significant reunion for Jackman and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, whose first producing credit dates back to 2000’s X-Men.

Reynolds, along with the Deadpool franchise’s original writers Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells (“The Marvels,” “Robot Chicken”), co-wrote the script. The star-studded cast includes familiar faces such as Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapičić as Colossus, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Rob Delaney as the unpowered Peter.

Joining the Deadpool universe are Emma Corrin (“The Crown”) and Matthew Macfadyen (“Succession”), adding new dimensions to the anticipated film. With this powerhouse ensemble, “Deadpool 3” promises to be a thrilling continuation of the beloved franchise.
