Mark Hamill Surprises Star Wars Fan Who Received R2-D2 Inspired Bionic Arm. Bella Tadlock is an 11 year-old girl from Tallahassee, Florida who recently completed a successful campaign online to receive a bionic arm, called a “Hero Arm,” from Open Bionics. The fundraiser was a success and Bella received the first bionic arm themed after the iconic Star Wars droid R2-D2 in the United States.

It seems Bella, also known as Bionic Bella, caught the attention of Star Wars actor Mark Hamill who wanted to reach out and congratulate Bella on her successful campaign and surprise her and her mother with a special video chat. You can watch this sweet video below:

We love seeing stars reach out to their fans, but it seems this time Mark Hamill himself is the fan of Bionic Bella! The two have such a relaxed conversation and at one point Mark even introduces his daughter and their dogs to Bella who lights up while they are on screen.
