Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress in the Magic Kingdom is closed for the 2nd day in a row due to mechanical issues.
We noticed the ride showing Temporarily Closed on the My Disney Experience App yesterday and when we checked again this morning it still showed the same information.
Reports are coming in that maintenance crews are on hand to fix whatever is preventing this fan-favorite attraction from reopening.
Another fan favorite attraction that is closed is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. It failed to reopen with the parks earlier this month and we are unsure if it had to do with when the trains collided or when it caught fire.
Either way, we can’t wait for these Magic Kingdom attractions to open, where else would we take a much-needed break from the Florida heat?
