Actors such as Josh Gad and Mark Ruffalo are taking action to help encourage people to get out and vote. It might seem unorthodox, but they want people exercise their right to have their voice heard.
The video is tastefully done to let voters know what to do if they’re voting by mail. For starters, they have specific instructions to follow. Some states include two envelopes with mail-in ballots, and if a ballot isn’t inside both of them it’s known as a “naked ballot” and is then tossed out and not counted. It’s important to understand the process of voters want to correctly submit their votes. The video encourages voters to mail or drop off their ballot as soon as they’re finished in order to be counted in time.
The celebrities featured in the video include Chris Rock, Tiffany Haddish, Amy Schumer, Josh Gad, Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler, Ryan Bathe, and Naomi Campbell, and Sacha Baron Cohen.
