John Stamos‘ ‘Big Shot’ Series Production Temporarily Halted Over Faulty COVID-19 Test. The upcoming Disney+ series, Big Shot, starring John Stamos and Jessalyn Gilsig, temporarily stopped production after a routine COVID-19 test came back positive. Reportedly, the test was a false positive after further testing was completed for reassurance and filming has resumed.
According to Deadline, “[Big Shot is a] 10-episode series follows a temperamental college basketball coach (Stamos) who gets fired from his job and must take a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school.”
Gilsig will be playing the “good-humored and down-to-earth assistant basketball coach” Holly alongside Stamos’ Marvin. Jessalyn replaced Shiri Appleby in the role due to rumors that Marvin and Holly may develop a romantic relationship down the line of the series.
