If you’ve dreamed of earning a living at the happiest place on earth, but have a passion for caffeine and a need to smell coffee brewing, this is the job for you! Note: if you’re not interested in working at a Disney location, maybe the new store in Tampa would be a better fit! They’re hiring too!

The position is full time but you don’t need any previous experience to apply. Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company is looking for someone with an unbeatable positive attitude, as well as a propensity for friendliness and ease of manner. The environment you’ll be working in is fast-paced, and you’ll need to be able to remember multiple orders, customizations, and recipes at once, all while maintaining quality. Bonus points if you already have customer service skills to show off and/or prior experience in food service. The new hires at Joffrey’s will need to demonstrate product knowledge, being able to converse informatively with guests about their unique dietary needs. If you’re hired, you’ll need to be able to keep your workstation clean and well-stocked.

These are the basic requirements to work as a Joffrey’s Barista/Service Specialist. But as with any career on Disney property, it is expected that you’ll go above and beyond expectations. Greeting guests, ensuring a friendly atmosphere, and outstanding service will be your responsibility.

Other notable requirements include HS diploma or GED, acquiring and maintaining a Barista Certification within 6 months (recertification every 6 months), adherence to food safety practices, quick and efficient service skills, ability to stand for long periods as well as handle up to 50 pounds, ability to learn to use equipment safely and efficiently, ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays, and no visible tattoos or multiple piercings (compliance with the Disney look).
