Joffrey’s Coffee building new location outside of Walt Disney World

Joffrey’s Coffee announced a new flagship store outside the Disney World Resort area. Joffrey’s has been running kiosks and selling coffee on Disney property since 1995. In 2013 they joined Disney’s Corporate Alliance sponsorship category as the first specialty coffee company.

The agreement meant that Joffrey’s will be supplying Walt Disneyworld Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Vacation Club. Now it looks like they are opening a flagship store in downtown Tampa. Midtown Tampa’s development space will occupy some 1,500 square feet alongside a central green space. Other companies opening in the Midtown Tampa development will be REI, Whole Foods Market, Shake Shack, and True Food Kitchen.

“Joffrey’s is thrilled to be opening our flagship location in the Midtown development — we’ve been part of the Tampa Bay community for more than 35 years and are proud to call it home,” Joffrey’s CEO Ted Abrams said in an announcement of the flagship cafe plan yesterday. “We pride ourselves on brewing the world’s best coffee and tea, and couldn’t be more excited to bring that passion to our new retail home at Midtown Tampa.”

The company says it will also plan to stay open into the evening hours, offering wine and beer. The flagship store is hopeful to open in the first quarter of 2021. Until then you can find Joffrey’s available in all 4 parks at Disney World, and along the Skyliner route, and at Disney Springs.
