Jar Jar Binks to be Featured in ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi‘ Disney+ Series. Star Wars fans did not feel this disturbance in The Force! Reportedly, Lucasfilm is looking to bring back one of the most despised character in all of the Star Wars Universe: Jar Jar Binks.
Now you may hear this and giggle at the idea or even feel that this may just ruin the series for you before we ever get to see the show, but hear us out. According editor Jason Ward, the Gungan who haphazardly waltzed his way into the adventuring party of Jedi and Politicians in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace will return for the series and luckily for fans, only in a secondary/cameo role for the series.
Ward reportedly shared early CGI work hints that a bearded Jar Jar will appear in the series and recount what he went through since the fall of the Jedi Temple in Revenge of the Sith and reflect on past memories with Obi-Wan. Currently, we know Hayden Christensen will return as Darth Vader for the series, and possibly as Anakin in flashback sequences.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to be directed by Deborah Chow (The Mandalorian) and will be a limited series for Disney+. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Star Wars!
