Japan construction walls are up for a NEW restaurant!

Japan construction walls are up for a NEW restaurant! While in Epcot this week we are checking out what is going on. From tasty seasonal treats and delicious fall flavors to construction on a variety of attractions, excitement is in the air. Construction is moving forward, let’s take a look at Japan…

As promised, a new Japan dining location… THE WALLS ARE UP on the building that is the current home to TEPPAN EDO and TOKYO DINING heading towards the Morocco Pavilion. Not all the details are known yet, including the name, style or exact opening date. What we can tell you is the restaurant will be run by the Mitsukoshi Company, who runs the other resultants in the Japan Pavilion.

Here is a live look at the progress, recorded by Whitney a fellow writer.

Enjoy the Japanese dishes at Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining while watching the progress of construction.

Epcot’s Teppan Edo restaurant is Hibachi dining at its best.  Family-style seating around a large grill with a personal chef that puts on a dazzling show all the while creating a custom meal is not to be missed. If you have a group this is a destination for every age. Teppan Edo’s menu allows diners to make healthy choices and not feel weighed down after. Fresh and delicious offerings abound. Here are some of your options:

The menu includes tempura, meats, chicken steak, seafood, veggies, and grilled dishes as well as Japanese soups and udon noodles. Kids will find fun items served in Monorail dishes! Enjoy a green tea or ginger flavored dessert for something sweet. Adults, don’t forget to try sake or a sake cocktail.

What’s NEW in Epcot?? Japan construction walls are up for a NEW restaurant!

For a sushi experience head over to the highly recommended Tokyo Dining. Sushi and sashimi at reasonable prices with an amazing view of Illuminations! This restaurant is rarely over-populated, so it’s a good one to try if you’re caught without a reservation. To ensure a good seat we do suggest a reservation though, around 8:00 p.m. to enjoy dessert with a fantastic show! Before your meal, explore the beautiful exhibits and fun department stores in the Japan Pavilion
