Interview With Cast of DuckTales In Scrooge’s Money Bin

Today is a big day for DuckTales fans! Almost a 30 years after it made its debut in September 1987, Disney’s reboot premieres today. To honor this momentous occasion we wanted to bring you this cute moment from Disney’s D23 Expo. The cast of DuckTales gathered to talk about the exciting reboot of one of Disney’s most beloved series – from a life-size recreation of Scrooge McDuck’s gold coin-filled money pit.

Joined by comedians Ben Schwartz (Dewey) and Beck Bennett (Launchpad McQuack), the DuckTales cast, which includes Kate Micucci (Webby) and Toks Olagundoye (Mrs. Beakley), reveal where they were 30 years ago on the date the original DuckTales first aired.

The interview also touches on the beloved animated series’ most iconic soundbite, “DuckTales, woo-hoo!,” from the show’s opening credits; and reveals what the cast thinks Ben Schwartz’s personal theme song would be.

Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie make their exciting return to television with a one-hour TV movie, today on Disney XD.
