Hyperspace Mountain Overlay being removed to make way for Classic Space Mountain

Hyperspace Mountain

Disneyland’s Hyperspace Mountain will be closing on on January 7th, 2020 for a one-day refurbishment so the Classic Space Mountain can be restored.

This limited-time Star Wars overlay has been going strong for some time now and according to the OC Register, this fan-favorite overlay is being retired for now.

I had the pleasure of riding it many times and it is easily one of my favorite overlays.

Will you miss Hyperspace Mountain or are you glad to see it go?

  1. We just had our first experience it had fantastic effects. So happy we got to ride it before it left. We go to Disney world more. This was our first visit to Disneyland. Which we loved and hope to return again in the future.

  2. Very disappointed… Hyperspace catapulted to being my FAVORITE attraction in three parks visited (WDW, DLR/CA, DLP/HS). I appreciate when there are some differences among the parks…
