The Hispanic culture is rich and diverse and that heritage is being celebrated at The Walt Disney World Resort.
Recently, Disney shared its final video installment in their series celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which highlights cast members throughout the parks and resorts. This most recent video features some of the sabores (flavors) created by Disney World Chef Daniel Contreras. In the video, the talented Chef Daniel discusses how these delicious culinary dishes have been greatly influenced by his culture and family.
Chef Daniel grew up in Columbia and shares with us some of the stories of his childhood and family that inspired his passion for cooking. He has been responsible for the creation of numerous recipes showcased throughout the year at the festivals at Epcot, including the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Chef Daniel is thrilled that he is able to share his love of cooking, his culture and Disney with his family and guests at the Walt Disney World Resort. He describes his experience as his dream job where he can share his enthusiasm and culinary skills with cast members and guests.
The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is currently in full swing and will continue until November 12, 2018. There is only about a month left to celebrate this year’s festival, so make sure you stop by and check out all of the amazing culinary offerings from all over the world! We are looking forward to see what Chef Daniel and the other talented chefs at the Walt Disney World Resort have in store for us in the future.
We would like to send a special thank you to the Walt Disney World Resort and all of the cast members who shared their stories with us to help us celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
