Did a preview of upcoming merchandise accidentally reveal who takes up the mantle of Black Panther in Wakanda Forever?
The trailer for ”Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” teases Marvel fans on who the mystery person is wearing the superhero suit. Even though the Marvel panel at San Diego Comic Con chose to be hushed about who wears the Black Panther suit, it seems LEGO may have spilled the beans.
According to The Brick Fan, the LEGO set shows King Namor’s Throne Room and seemingly reveals none other than Letitia Wright’s character Shuri in a new Black Panther suit.
If this is the case, then it certainly matches the comic book history of when Shuri operated as Black Panther. We are eager to hear official confirmation from Marvel Studios!
In Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premieres in theaters on November 11, 2022.
