Spooky Halloween Decorations Take Over Disneyland

Spooky season is officially materializing across the Disneyland Resort! With Halloween Time beginning, festive fall decorations, vibrant bunting, and fan-favorite character pumpkins have arrived to transform Disneyland Park into an autumnal wonderland.

Here is a look at all the jack-o’-lanterns and festive displays greeting guests as they enter the park!

The Fab Five Greeting at the Main Entrance

  • Turnstile Displays: Perched right atop the main entrance and exit gates, the iconic “Fab Five” character jack-o’-lanterns are back to welcome guests.
  • Mickey & Minnie: Sitting on the upper section of the entrance roof, Mickey and Minnie boast mini pumpkin ears and nose details, with Minnie sporting two burgundy leaves for her signature bow.
  • Donald, Goofy & Pluto: Flanking the sides on the lower roof sections, Donald features a pumpkin hat, Goofy’s signature cap is crafted from three stacked green gourds, and Pluto greets fans with a wide-open, goofy smile.

Autumn Bunting & Main Street Transformation

  • Disneyland Railroad Station: The park’s front entrance is draped in festive burgundy, yellow, and orange banners, complete with lamppost garlands centered around mini Mickey jack-o’-lanterns.
  • Main Street, U.S.A.: Main Street buildings—including City Hall, The Mad Hatter, and the Emporium—are decked out in autumnal tapestries and carved pumpkins with unique expressions.

As you stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., during the Main Street Pumpkin Festival, the entire thoroughfare transforms into a cozy, golden-hued harvest wonderland. Hundreds of hand-carved jack-o’-lanterns adorn the Victorian architecture—perched along second-story windowsills, perched above shop doorways, and tucked beneath glowing gas lamps.

Each individual pumpkin boasts its own unique personality, ranging from silly and mischievous grins to classic, spooky expressions. Anchoring the festive display at Town Square is the iconic, towering giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin, serving as the ultimate center-stage backdrop for seasonal photos. Combined with warm autumn garlands and orange-and-yellow bunting draped along rooflines, these glowing gourd details make every step down Main Street feel undeniably festive.
