Gordon Ramsay’s ‘The Carnaby’ is Officially Open at Downtown Disney
Today, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay officially opened the doors to his boldest new dining destination yet: Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, located right in the heart of the Downtown Disney District.
If you are visiting the Disneyland Resort this summer, get ready to transport your tastebuds straight to 1960s London. Inspired by the iconic Carnaby Street era—where music, fashion, and food collided in full color—this high-energy restaurant blends classic British culinary traditions with modern techniques and a lively, social atmosphere that evolves effortlessly from day to night.

The Carnaby is designed to hold 175 guests and features three distinct, immersive environments. Diners can choose between high-energy social dining spaces, intimate settings perfect for private gatherings, or an expansive terrace overlooking the bustling Downtown Disney District.
The interiors are an immersive nod to “Swinging London,” decked out with curated artwork, a massive statement mural, and bold design elements inspired by the creativity of the era. The entire experience is tied together by a curated soundtrack rooted in iconic British hits of the 1960s. Trust us, the energy and atmosphere here are just as spectacular as the menu!

At its core, The Carnaby celebrates Chef Ramsay’s signature approach to elevated comfort food. Fans will be thrilled to find his most famous hallmark dishes on the menu, including:
- Gordon Ramsay’s Renowned Beef Wellington
- Fish & Chips (complete with triple-cooked fries!)
- Sticky Toffee Pudding
The menu also boasts reimagined classics like Bangers & Mash and Cottage Pie, alongside globally influenced dishes like Branzino, Chicken Milanese, and a richly layered Chickpea Tikka Masala.
But the real showstopper? The restaurant’s interactive tableside Prime Rib Cart! Guests can watch as chefs hand-carve selections right at their table, served alongside traditional British accompaniments like Yorkshire pudding, roasted vegetables, and rich au jus.

The beverage program matches the playful, expressive spirit of the ’60s, delivering cocktails that are as visually compelling as they are delicious. Guests can sip on theatrical drinks like the Passionfruit Royale (finished with a delicate fruit sphere) or the Cherry Baby (layered with elderflower, citrus, and botanicals). A globally sourced wine list and curated beer selection are also available to round out your meal.
Conveniently located in the Downtown Disney District, The Carnaby is just steps from the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and a short drive from the Anaheim Convention Center, making it the perfect new hotspot for locals, vacationing families, and group events.
- Current Soft Opening Hours: Serving dinner nightly from 4:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Looking Ahead: In the coming months, The Carnaby will expand its operating hours to include breakfast and lunch, shifting seamlessly from an upbeat daytime setting to an elevated evening social scene.
Whether you’re looking for an upscale date night or a lively spot to wind down after a day in the parks, Gordon Ramsay’s newest spot is a must-visit.
