This years 2023 runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is a blast from the past. The four-park marathon has 90s retro vibes, your favorite classic characters, and taste of the runDisney marathons of the past.
The biggest race of the season features 6 races and 3 challenges.
You can expect the Fab Five and Dopey to be on hand for the festivities.
One of the most exciting things about this year’s races are the medals. Commemorating over 30 years of runDisney, and paying tribute to where everything started, the colorful nostalgic medals are bound to be some of the most popular yet.

Pluto 5K Medal
Mickey’s best pal Pluto appears on the 5k medal. This 3.1 mile course is perfect for everyone in the family to enjoy.
Chip “N” Dale 10K Medal
The nutty duo of Chip “N” Dale appears on this 10K medal. This 6.2-mile course takes you through the theme parks.
Donald & Daisy 13.1 Mile Medal
Donald & Daisy will cheer you on through this 13.1-mile marathon.
Mickey & Minnie Medal
Join Mickey & Minnie in a race through Walt Disney World Resort on this 26.2-mile course.
Goofy Marathon Medal
Runners doing both the Walt Disney World Half and Full Marathons for a total of 39.3 miles can join Goofy in this Race and a half challenge.

Dopey Medal
The ultimate runDisney medal is the Dopey Challenge Medal. You must finish all 4 race events for a total of 48.6 miles!
Virtual runDisney Marathon
For those that can’t make it to Walt Disney World for the 2023 marathon consider doing one of the virtual ones. Registration is still open and you can choose from all the same options above. whether it’s 3.1 or 48.6 miles it’s a great way to be a part of something when you just can’t make it back to the mouse.
