Frontier Trading Post Temporarily Closed at Magic Kingdom Following Reported Flooding
Frontierland shoppers may find one familiar stop unavailable for the time being, as Frontier Trading Post at Magic Kingdom has temporarily closed following reported flooding inside the store.

The shop was closed to guests on August 24, with Cast Members stationed outside the entrance to let visitors know it was unavailable. According to reports from the park, several inches of water flooded the location overnight on August 23, with emergency crews responding and teams working to clear out the affected area.
Frontier Trading Post is a longtime shopping location in Frontierland, offering western-themed merchandise along with Native American-inspired items. It is also a popular stop for Disney Pin Trading, making the closure especially noticeable for collectors wandering through this side of Magic Kingdom.

At this time, Disney has not announced when Frontier Trading Post will reopen, so guests visiting Magic Kingdom may want to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app or check with Cast Members for the latest updates. Hopefully this Frontierland watering hole dries out quickly and is back open for business soon.
