It’s a tremendous honor for a Disney employee to have their name featured on a window display at Main Street. Disney is paying respect to an executive who helped shape the growth of Walt Disney World’s theme parks and resorts. George Kalogridis is a former Walt Disney World President and the proud recipient of a window display at Main Street, U.S.A. to honor his service.

Both the Walt Disney World President, Jeff Vahle, and Disney Parks Chairman, Josh D’Amaro, went to attend the window dedication. The new window is in front of the Chamber of Commerce building at Magic Kingdom’s Main Street, U.S.A. location. You can see more of the display in our Instagram post.
George Kalogridis is currently serving as the President of Segment Development and Enrichment for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
The names painted in the windows serve as credits for some of the many people who contributed in some manner to the parks. Typically they appear as fictional businesses and often refer to a hobby of or development made by the person honored. We’re sure George is honored by this experience and the new window in Magic Kingdom!
