Everyone’s favorite Frozen sisters, Anna and Elsa will be taking a short break this January while the Frozen Sing-Along Celebration Theatre gets a complete refurbishment. The refurbishment which was originally scheduled for August 22nd until September 9th has now been pushed back until Jan 9th until Jan 27th.
The popular long-running show opened July 5th, 2014, and has continued to be a guest favorite ever since.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
Arendelle historians Sir Erik, or just Erik, and Aria retell the story of Ana and Elsa in a less than accurate, but comical manner as Anna goes in search of her sister. They invite guests to celebrate and sing along.
Just in case there is anyone on earth that doesn’t know the lyrics to “Let It Go” and many other popular frozen songs, a large screen behind the actors showcases the lyrics, so everyone can get in on the fun.
Even Kristoff stops by. Elsa makes her grand entrance at the end and uses her icy powers “Pew Pew” to make it magically snow around the theater.
The show, For the First Time in Forever : A Frozen sing Along Celebration, takes place in the Hyperion Theatre at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and has several showtimes listed daily.
Around the holidays the Frozen Sing-Along is given a holiday twist and Olaf joins the cast for the grand finale that’s worth melting for.
The Arendelle Historians keep the show fresh by switching up the script now and then with hilarious comments, puns, and jokes.

The huge success of the Frozen franchise has also brought about a Frozen-themed ride over in Disney’s Epcot theme park. While at Epcot guests can also meet with Anna and Elsa in the Norway Pavilion over at the Royal Sommerhus.

Olaf can be found at Hollywood Studios just around the corner from the Frozen Sing-Along.
The Frozen Sing-Along is a must-do for us every trip to Hollywood Studios. I’m wondering if the refurbishment will bring about any script changes as well. I’m excited to see it get its refurbishment as it seems long overdue.
