Disney Reveals Massive Imagineering: Horizons Pavilion at D23 2026 With First Looks at Upcoming Attractions
Disney fans attending D23 2026 are getting a huge peek at what Imagineering has cooking for the future, and there is a lot on the menu. The new “Imagineering: Horizons” pavilion is the largest pavilion in Walt Disney Imagineering history, bringing together models, maquettes, concept art, Audio-Animatronics, and interactive experiences from projects being developed around the world. More than 150 Imagineers are staffing the space throughout the event, while the pavilion’s Center Stage will host over 30 presentations during the weekend.

Walt Disney World has a particularly big presence. Guests can see new costumes, maquettes, and attraction artwork for the Carousel of Progress update at Magic Kingdom, along with a closer look at Tropical Americas coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Tropical Americas display includes Audio-Animatronics from the upcoming Encanto attraction, a model of the Indiana Jones attraction temple façade, and character sculpts planned for the land’s carousel.
Piston Peak National Park is represented by a massive 19-by-19-foot model that includes the first look at its second attraction, while Monstropolis at Disney’s Hollywood Studios features neighborhood designs and some hilariously monster-fied versions of a pigeon, squirrel, and rabbit. Disney is also offering another tantalizing tease of the future Villains-themed land with two themed tree sculpts showing off the visual style being developed for the area.
There is plenty beyond Walt Disney World too. Disneyland Resort fans can check out a new queue rendering and Hector sculpt for the upcoming Coco attraction, plus models tied to the future Avatar destination. Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is represented by an expansion model and Stark Flight Lab ride vehicle maquette.
Around the globe, Imagineering is showing off the upcoming Wreck-It Ralph attraction and redesigned Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland, The Lion King attraction headed to Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, and new Marvel experiences planned for Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland. Star Wars fans can even visit the interactive Anzellan Creature Workshop and get a look at Hugo’s Sweets & Fizz, a new food pod featuring an animatronic show.
