New barges appear to be in place for the upcoming EPCOT Nighttime Spectacular
When Disney retired Harmonious at EPCOT following the conclusion of the 50th anniversary celebration, EPCOT Forever was again brought back as a ‘filler’ show. Disney related a new nighttime spectacular will be coming to EPCOT, and Twitter user bioreconstruct has brought us our first glimpse of what appear to be the new fireworks barges that will be used for the yet-to-be-named show.

biocreconstruct posted the images, which show the new barges parked near the service barge that was utilized for both the maintenance and eventual removal of the Harmonious barges.
In a second post, bioreconstruct shared images of platforms that also appear to be related to the new fireworks show.
EPCOT Forever
Currently, EPCOT Forever is the fireworks show that guests see at EPCOT. EPCOT Forever was also presented while Illuminations was being replaced with Harmonious. Disney describes EPCOT forever as a show that allows guests to “Witness the wonder as the story of EPCOT and its next incredible chapter come to life in this nighttime spectacular.
