Haunted Mansion fans are materializing to sign a petition to The Walt Disney Company! They are asking for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to get a little scarier by doing Haunted Mansion character Meet-and-Greets. Just imagine being able to get a picture with Constance Hatchaway or the Hitchhiking Ghosts!
Claire Price started this petition on change.org in the hopes that Haunted Mansion characters would make appearances outside of the ride during these special events at Walt Disney World. She, and many others, hope to get autographs or have creepy interactions with some of their favorites. Characters such as the Hatbox Ghost, the Tightrope Walker, Constance Hatchaway (otherwise known as the Bride), Madame Leota, the Hitchhiking Ghosts, etc.
The Haunted Mansion has long been a fan-favorite at Disney World, prompting merchandise, themed snacks, and even a film starring Eddie Murphy. Disney parks around the world have their versions of the mansion, such as Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris and Mystic Manor in Hong Kong. It seems that Disney-goers love a good scare!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party already boasts some of Disney’s scariest villains. From the Headless Horseman to Hades, guests are sure to get a fun fright if they choose to attend this family-friendly party, which occurs during the months leading up to Halloween. Haunted Mansion gravediggers and dancers already take part in the parade that occurs during the party, so the question remains: why not add more?
If readers are in favor of Haunted Mansion meet-and-greets, they should be sure to sign the petition. Maybe next year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be the spookiest yet!
