The basketball season at Disney World is almost over as the NBA Finals come towards the end of the post-season. It’s down to two teams now as the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat compete for the NBA Championship title. However, attentive sports fans did catch a certain Disney character watching the latest game: Mickey Mouse!
Those watching Game 5 of the NBA Finals on TV were shown the iconic cartoon mouse watching the game as well. The network showed an eager Mickey enjoying the basketball game from his home.

Even NBA commentator Mike Breen made a comment about Mickey Mouse. Mike Breen said, “He’s like Lebron. He doesn’t age. He looks the same as he did years ago.”

To summarize the NBA bubble, the league formed a comprehensive plan for a July 30 restart to the 2019-20 season. The bubble included stringent health and safety protocols, a single-site campus at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and the goal of taking collective action to combat systemic racism and promote social justice.
It’s been an unorthodox year for sports, but basketball fans were able to see the 2019-2020 season finish at Disney.
