Fans petition Disney to bring Bear in the Big Blue House to Disney+

Do you remember the show Bear in the Big Blue House? The popular Disney Channel show ran for a total of 9 seasons between 1997 to 2006. Many fans of the TV series are hoping to see the show brought to Disney+ streaming service soon.

The petition’s message includes the following text:

WE WERE REALLY HOPING DISNEY+ WOULD OPEN THE DISNEY VAULT AND BEAR WOULD COME OUT AND SNIFF US! BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE ON DISNEY + WOULD MAKE US SO HAPPY!

My daughters watched Bear on Playhouse Disney and through all the shows I watched as a kid, and all that they watched, Bear is hands down our favorite. Bear appeals to kids of all ages. The music made us want to get up and dance and it still makes me happy to hear the songs today. When Bear was smelling the screen I felt like I could smell the pancakes or laundry soap. The stories are so well done and both entertain and teach kids, and in ways that adults enjoy too.

Would you like to see the classic Disney Channel show brought to Disney+? Despite the vast library of shows available, it’s surprising this children’s show isn’t available yet on the streaming service. It’s a delightful show made by the Jim Henson Company. Many of today’s preschool age children would enjoy seeing it return!
