Epcot’s Magic Eye Theater to Present Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival

Magic Eye Theater

Captain EO may be saying it’s final goodbyes at the Magic Eye Theater in Epcot’s Imagination Pavilion, but a new “Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival” will be moving in!

Disney Parks knows how much fan love their animated films and shorts, and Today Disney Parks Blog announced that coming in December, Epcot guests can enjoy the beloved Disney and Pixar animated shorts in a new experience. The new attraction will be a 4D experience located in Epcot’s Magic Eye Theater. The “Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival” will also look into the visionary minds behind some of the world’s most iconic animated films today.

Once inside the theater, guests can wear their 3D glasses and explore the imaginative worlds of three animations shorts, which will jump to life on the big screen (and in the theater) like never before!

“Captain EO” will be leaving to make way for this exciting new experience, but guests have until December 6 to say farewell to the iconic attraction. So be sure to see the Captain and his crew send out a message of major love one last time before then!
