Epcot Announces Special Events to Celebrate World Oceans Day June 8

If you have plans to be at Epcot this Friday, June 8, you are in luck! June 8 is World Oceans Day and Epcot will be celebrating with some special events at the Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction.

• Disney’s Animal, Science, and Environmental Education Team will be on hand to teach Guests ways to protect our oceans and the importance of recycling on our environment.
• Guests are invited to pose with an event exclusive sea turtle and shark picture frame to remind them of the importance of keeping our oceans clean.
• Guests can stop by the Sea Base Gift Shop to make a donation to the Disney Conservation Fund. Each donation will earn you an exclusive Disney Conservation Fund button.
• Sink your teeth into a limited edition white and dark chocolate mousse made exclusively to celebrate World Oceans Day. You can “catch” this dessert at The Coral Reef Restaurant.
