Elon Musk and James Franco Called to Testify in Depp VS. Heard Case. On October 26 both Elon Musk and James Franco were subpoenaed to testify in the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard libel suit and have been court ordered to “produce the books, record, electronically stored information and tangible things designated and described” — including “verbal conversations, telephone calls, letters, emails, memoranda [and] reports” — by January 17, 2022.
Musk is currently scheduled to be deposed on January 24, 2022, and Franco is scheduled to be deposed on January 26, 2022. According to USMagazine, “The documents request that any communications between the men and Heard, 35, relating to allegations of physical injuries or harm sustained by her as a result of alleged conduct by Depp, 58, and allegations of physical abuse or domestic violence committed by either party be turned over.”
